I love that Fitz is more scared of what others would *do to* Skye, than *of* Skye. I love how they used Fitz changes to parallel Skye's and have someone in her corner that really can empathize with what's happening to her and will try to protect her because even with the changes she's still Skye to Fitz, whereas pretty much everyone else only sees her powers.
Fitz is the only one who understands what it's like to change suddenly and have to learn to deal with your entire physical being changing...I love the friendship between Skye and Fitz and I really want to see more of it in the upcoming season as they try to get her back.

@@mjg1477 Nah, he would have sent Skye away at the time because that's what he did eventually. He still had to follow Shield protocols. Plus the politics behind it would have been bad with the "other shield". That's like saying Skye should have told Coulson but she didn't.

Something I find really devastating about this scene is the subtle detail that Skye already had her bags packed. She was already going to isolate herself from them and then she overheard this and that only solidified her decision. My heart breaks for her.
"Secrets don't help anyone" says the double agent. They make a big deal about Skye not telling them about her powers, and when they betray Coulson's team they wonder why everyone shuns them. 🤔
@@ARCTrooperStudios8108 Where in my comment did I say lock her up/experiment on her? All I said was that they shouldn't have Skye living in the Playground when she had no control of her powers because that could have killed a bunch of people.
Yup that was my exact reaction I literally yelled IDIOTS when I saw Daisy there. I yelled it twice actually. Once when I watched this on Netflix for the first time and another when I watched this video
You have to feel sorry for Skye in that moment. The change is hard enough without her friends/family acting like this. Fitz is the only one that was saying the truth. Skye does need protecting. Well did. She didn't know how to control herself. They needed to be helping her learn control not wanting to lock her up.
Hannah Goad Exactly. They didn't have the balls to say it to her face, so why say it at all. If you're going to say it, own it. Don't say behind the person's back and then feel bad when she accidentally hears. But it's water under the bridge, teams disagree sometimes. I still love all those characters
Lanre Adedeji Thats why i love Fitz he tells hard truth and true seasons he see world as hated place and wants fixs it and he fights back and he cares about his friends.
But at this point, Mack was also right. They needed protection from her. They live in an underground base. Having someone that has "uncontrollable" earthquake powers in the base, isn't good. If she kept that a secret any longer, Skye could have killed a bunch of people.
I think it's hilarious how Mack said that they need to be protected from her and then after Hive takes control of her he's literally the only one who's there for her and forgives her.
Yeah, but there may be reason for that. Remember what happened in Kree city? Mack fell under the mind control of the security system of that city and he was mind controlled. So essentialy he survived pretty much same situation.
One thing that really bothers me, eventually Skye figures out that if they were her friends they should've accepted her the way she was, but still she never confronts them on it.
I hated them all so much in that scene. It's not like this was her choice. She went into the temple to try and stop Raina to save people and stop Hydra she didn't choose to be transformed into an Inhuman. And she didn't choose to have the power that came with it. And the fact that they were acting like that is just wrong. She literally shot herself when Sif and the Kree were after her to protect her friends and yet they're acting as if she's a criminal or a monster, and honestly I hated Shield for most of Season 2. She deserved to be treated better and helped not hated and betrayed
Lanay Starks she was born with powers but she only received them because of what went down in the temple. If she wasn’t there when Raina did what she did, Skye would still have been completely normal and none the wiser about who she truly was
@@lanaystarks4975 no the reason she was treated as an 084 is because they didnt know where she came from. Her mother was from afterlife, no records and they found her around a dead village, one her mother killed to survive.
She was already a inhuman which is why the kree serum didn't have an effect like it did on Coulson. That is why the devinor works on her and raina and everyone else gets turned to stone
They didn't treat her as a criminal they were having a go at fitz for lying and not telling everyone. Yes fitz was a good friend but her powers are dangerous. Her powers can take down whole buildings and resembles earthquake they had to know so they can help her.
The friendship between Fitz and Daisy always seemed one of the best, not to mention my favorite (except for Daisy-Coulson's and speaking of friendships) the only thing they lacked more development, but I am happy with what they gave me Daisy and Fitz are soul mates, they can't change my mind
I've always found it cool that Fitz and Ward were the only ones who didn't judge or treat Skye differently as a result of her powers. Fitz's reaction was to protect her and help her figure things out while Ward saw her use them and was just like "I guess that's a thing now" vs everyone else who kinda lost it when they found out
It’s not her fault she was born with powers. Her parents had powers so it got passed down to her. Does the team not know that she was an 084 for when she was baby, poeple were dying trying to protect her bc hydra was prolly coming after her
Lanay Starks well I highly doubt that everybody knows the full story of that. Probably just her, Coulson, May, and maybe Fitz-Simmons if she told them at some point. Probably Simmons over Fitz.

It could quite possibly just be me, but personally I never really liked "Daisy" and even more so "Quake", Skye always seemed like the name that suited her, and since it was her original one it's the one I always associated with her.
