- Billy Miller, known for his roles on soap operas 'General Hospital' and 'The Young and the Restless,' has died. He was 43. The actor began his daytime TV career with 'All My Children' in 2007, before joining the 'Young and the Restless' cast a year later, which garnered him three Daytime Emmy wins. Billy then starred in 'General Hospital' from 2014 to 2019, and had guest roles on series shows like 'Suits.’

We can't know for certain he was a 'beautiful' person as you put it. A lot will come out in the coming weeks, it seems he was carrying a lot of shame/trouble inside him about something.

I watched Billy Miller in both soap opera rolls as Billy Abbott on Young and Restless and Andrew (Drew) Cain on General Hospital. He was a terrific actor in both roles and he will be truly missed. Rest in Peace (R.I.P.) Billy.

Billy gave us all such joy & laughter through being himself & through his craft as such an enjoyable & talented actor. His struggles are over now & he is at peace. Depression/ mentsl illness can consume a person even when they try so hard to overcome it. Prayers for God to grant his family & friends, & fans (like me) the strength to get through this difficult time. Billy was ours for a very short time, but he filled that time with so much! Now he is needed elsewhere. Thank you, Billy! You will always be loved & missed!!!

I have personally met most of the cast but never got to meet Billy Miller. He said he took up acting as a dare. Someone dared him to do acting because they didn't think he could pull it off. Depression is an equal opportunity destroyer. Sadly it doesn't matter how talented, good looking, rich, poor, old or young you are. It's a sad, isolative, difficult struggle for so many people. The saddest part is that it's not until AFTER someone has lost their battle do most people realize just how much their loved one was going through and how much they/we wish we could have done more to help or try to help. Also, I always think, after the fact 'if only that man or woman truly KNEW how much they were loved & how many people would have done almost anything to help if the person had let others in to just how much they were struggling."
However, when one is struggling with depression it seems as if the HARDEST thing to do is ask for help 😢. This young man's passing is heartbreaking, for him and his loved ones. The only comfort I can find is in believing that he is now in a beautiful place where there is no depression, sadness, isolation or loneliness.
