- Beloved soap star Billy Miller, known for his roles on “The Young and the Restless” and “General Hospital” is being mourned by fans and colleagues after his tragic death at 43. “Extra” speaks to Michelle Stafford, who worked with Billy on both shows, as well as Elizabeth Hendrickson, who co-starred with him on “Y&R.” Elizabeth reveals that she became more than friends with Billy and reflects on their sometimes-complicated relationship, calling him “larger than life.”
My deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers go to Billy's family and friends. He was an awesome man and terrific actor. He will be sadly missed and forever loved. RIP Billy
Michelle Stafford left Y&R just months prior to Billy Miller (and Michael Muhney). These were the 3 most brilliant actors they had in the cast. I watched Y&R since childhood, with my Mom. After Billy’s last scene before he went to General Hospital (where Stafford was now working), I’ve not watched an episode since. Billy Miller was *that* good. I didn’t even want to watch without him in the cast.
I’m so hurt that he’s gone, but I’m happy he’s no longer suffering. I suffer similarly. It’s an every day battle.

Michelle Stafford is a nutty Scientologist. When the actor who played Mrs Chancelors' new husband (Micael Fairman) left COS, he became a suppressive person ( SP), and Michele Stafford shunned him. She then left the show. She later was on GH. They did a storyline on some cult, and she left GH. She then came back to Y&R ( Fairman no longer on show). Personally, I could NEVER stand her as Phyllis. Absolutely loathed her character portrayal(I know others loved her). When she came back, I totally stopped watching. I was a sporadic viewer at best. It got to the point that I didn't like anyone on the show.. when Billy Miller was on Y&R, I watched. I think he was the best Billy Abbott ever. I was sad to see him go.

Billy Miller always brought joy in his role of Billy Abbott to both the cast and the fans of the young and the restless as much joy as he brought to most of the fans of GH. He was superb playing Jason Morgan, and also Drew.

Never forgotten Billy Miller. I have never met Billy. But I feel strongly as if I did. When I read Billy Miller had died, I shouted so loudly, yelling out. Oh, no. Oh no. Couldn't be. I read it 9vet and over and over again with tears flowing uncontrollably . We kook at these Actors and Actresses five days a week for years. It seems as if though we know them. They become our favorite Actors and Actresses. Why won't we feel some sore of heartache when you hear they passed away.
It's sad. We're hurt. I'm sad for Billy's mom and all his loving family. I'm extending my deepest condolences yo each and every one who cared or know Billy Miller. RIP.

Those of us who smile the brightest, laugh the loudest, have the most charm or charisma, and those of us who make everyone around us laugh and feel something good- we are almost always the ones suffering the most. Please know this. Check on the ones you love who seem like they are the most confident, funny, happy, and doing well. We need it.

I use to watch Young and the Restless playing Billy with my grandmother, and on General Hospital playing Jason and twin of Jason Morgan which he is part of the Quartermaine family, and it’s sad for people to go through depression that they don’t wanna live in this world when they don’t feel happy that this disease overshadows your life by making a sacrifice. It sucks to die in a young age man

And I was thinking about him, watching old General Hospital scenes and episodes and I just found out a few hours about his death from last year. Crazy, I loved watching him act on GH. He seemed like a cool guy too. Wow. I am heartbroken. I suffer from depression.

Unfortunately it's not a hoax😢😢he died on Friday September 15th. It has it on Google and his mother posted the real cause of her son's death.
I am so sorry I would have never known what he was dealing with he was a great actor I watched him on Y & R & Suits, I always wished he’d return to Y & R, I lost my brother to depression 2yrs ago, it’s so hard to deal with. My thoughts & prayers are with the family & his friends❤️

Saw another Posted video that said he had a rare illness. He also had manic depression ..and he died with family and friends around. (Hope that part is true).. so liked him on whatever series he was in...

I,m still in shock, The name sounded familiar but didn,t look at first then when I went to see the picture it didn,t look like him till I saw the long version of memories of his career was when I just lost it. It was like losing Michael all over again. Too much overwhelming news.

There did not seem to be any of his close friends from the soap opera world who were there to help him through the depression. However, there has really never been a real cause of death revealed beyond his manager saying he suffered many years from manic depression.
His mother said he died by suicide.

What I don't understand is......every video clip here on UA-cam of Billy's he is always smiling and seems like a well-adjusted, happy person. If he had bouts of manic depression, how was he able to act on Soap operas probably not knowing when he was going to have a bad session of depression? I'm sorry you are also dealing with manic depression. I too have it and did try to commit suicide. I'm now taking meds for my depression and trying to keep busy. I'm very saddened that Billy Miller didn't get any help and has been struggling with depression 😢😢 he will never be forgotten from his fans 😞 will miss seeing him on TV 😭. My condolences to his family...... Does anybody know whether he had been vaccinated. They have articles out on one of the side effects of the vaccine is DEPRESSION and there has been a measurable increase in suicides of the vaccinated.
