I’m so thrilled for the success in your watchmaking! This is my pursuit and not an easy endeavor. I’m still trying to launch the work on component manufacturing in the bulk primary components and minimize what is purchased (hairspring, mainspring & arbor, most screws).

I'm pretty sure he is able to finish them further but they somehow look like they should as they are. I mean he is a simple self-thought guy, with farmer's hands, manually producing watches from scratch, with very basic tools (I assume this one). I think his watches reflect him and should not be perfected further. He would probably be able to do that, but against his nature, you'd feel.

I love the passion of this man Ondřej Berkus it reminds me of the watchmaker R.W. Smith, who is a master of craft and finishing on his watches, I do hope these watches you show us are prototypes, in close-up the finishing is awful most of the screws are chewed up and there is is dust and debris everywhere, I love the overall concept of the Watchers but please can you confirm if I bought one it would be totally reworked and finished properly, otherwise it would have to be an R.W Smith watch for me, I'm totally aware of the fact that R.W.Smith watches of very expensive and match the expense in the finishing, I wish Ondřej Berkus all the very best hope he continues to innovate and improve and get better and better.

Cool pieces
I like what he's doing, how he grew and the ideas. If he wanna grow more and want to be a really really big name, he has to work perfect. On the first glance his watches look verry intresting. In the close up's you start seeing pieces that i didn't want to have if i buy a watch. Then that comes with the question, how long can a movement like this, which is not perfect, run and who is gonna service this watch when the shit hits the fan.

This guy could lead some watchmaker's team at a fancy manufacture and be paid quite a few times what he does now. But maybe he doesn't like to live in Switzerland.
