The gold plated Universal Geneve Ellipse was my watch. I wondered who bought it. Biggest regret sell of my life! Seriously though I’ve too hairy a wrist for anything that stunning to look good on. Glad it went to a good home and your comments about it are on point. Excellent show BTW!
Universal Geneve is my pick. Great value. And is different. Andrew’s comments on the straps just made me buy a grey suede strap for my new vintage watch (better than shiny alligator). Great video guys! Could you please give the watches a little more video time; especially when on wrist?
Andrew - commit to wearing the Cartier (and nothing else) for a whole week, and see how you feel by the end of it. Thanks guys for a great video. Looking forward to part 2.
Fun and informative episode. Justin Hast has the Midas touch for making content like this - thanks for putting it out. And he’s in great company here. Coincidentally, I’m just back from the Time and Tide London space, and Andrew M, Amer, and Ryan are great hosts. Glad to see what they are doing and hope smth like it will come to America soon. Cheers.
Gentlemen, outstanding! Outstanding. Dare I say, a little bit of About Effing Time in here? That Cartier, I think it is about how you dress. I had the same dilemma and went for a steel Reverso cos i figured it went better with more casual attire. Huge thanks, Justin, for getting this together! Boss.
I totally get it re the Tank. I’ve lusted after a Must de Cartier but always worry it’s too small. But (per the discussion) I think watches like these just need the right outfit. They work a lot better with a suit/something more formal. Doesn’t need to be a tux, but just something a bit more ‘dressy’.
Hey Andrew, I have that Cartier as well as the burgundy version. I think it all depends on what you are wearing on the day. If you dress the way you did at Geneva Watch Days this year, the watch will wear very nicely. Much better than an RO Chronograph.
My son brought in his Timex Ironman New York Yankees edition into his Boston school for show and tell last year! And no he didn’t get beat up! Great video gents!
Great video, nice selection of timepieces. The VC 1921 is stunning. Tried it on in their Edinburgh boutique along with my dream watch - the 1942. Wish I’d had the funds and the courage to “pull the trigger”. Wear yours in good health sir!
Thoroughly enjoyed this, an excellent selection of watches but also the talk that goes around them. Don’t think the audience selection matters, the best choice is the one the owner loves. Andrew, suggest wearing the Tank more to let yourself bond. They can take a while to adjust to, but if Ali can wear it, the size should be fine for any of us. Looking forward to part 2
Great premise and episode! I’ve tried on the 1921 (I could never afford one though). It didn’t work for me. I like Cartier, but I’m going with the UG. Love that watch, especially in steel.
First time seeing your channel. Great work. I can't invest in plated watch unless I knew a professional who owned a plating business. I had so much bad luck with plated Items over time. Maybe plated survives better in cool environments so it suits England.
This is seriously my new favourite show! Andrew, that Cartier looks amazing on you. I sometimes switch a watch over to the right wrist, that really makes me look at it differently. Wear it casually, use shirts casually, mix it up.
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the AMZWATCH's watches are the most intriguing.
That VC 1921 is so fantastic, especially in Yellow Gold. I don't understand why they discontinued that version as its my favorite of the metals it has been released in. Man, imagine a 36.5mm yellow gold 1921? Sublime. but my 40mm version will have to suffice :)
I really enjoyed this discussion. The 1921 wins it for me, with the UG being a close second. Andrew, I do think that watch looks a touch small. Maybe with the right formal attire the size would work, but then the dial might be a bit too modern for said attire. I lean toward moving it on.
Impossible because the 1921 is a grail for me. But I’ve been in love and wanting Cartier tank for so long and taken so much time to think about which one I wanted. But when I saw Andrew wearing that Tank, I knew that’s the one.
As you’re on the fence Andrew with your Cartier, my address is ….🤣🤩👍🏼 Mate I like it! As a lot of comments here, wear it probably with appropriate attire. Personally I wouldn’t over wear it, but wear it on say a coffee date or dinner date with your wife. That VC is bloody awesome btw. Overall a beautiful collection gents!👏🏼
19:27 I really didnt like seeing someone polish someone else's beloved watch, with a cloth from their own pocket, without first asking the owner's permission. Crossed a line.

I'll do my best to look after it for you!
No wayyyyy

My favourite ‘watch conversation’ channel out there. Cheers Justin 🍻
Andrew - commit to wearing the Cartier (and nothing else) for a whole week, and see how you feel by the end of it.
Thanks guys for a great video. Looking forward to part 2.
Needless to say. The show is an instant favourite
I'm super happy to see you are still loving the UG Russell! Great chat guys!
Awesome panel and awesome concept. Love the idea of has to be your OWN watch.
Well done Gents!👏🏽keep these coming
Enjoyed this new series very much. Thank you
The Tank LC looks amazing! That's a keeper, for sure!
Ahhh gents this group and format is awesome. Got about effing time vibes but just better. Bravos all round 👏

That’s incredibly kind. Thank you - more to come soon
The cartier tank is great, I wear mine with t shirt sometimes, especially with knitwear, you just need to keep wearing it.
What a great video with good conversation. Looking forward to more
Love this series. All the watches are beautiful. The VC is my fave.
Well done Gentlemen ... that was both fun and informative. Looking forward to episode 2 - superb concept Justin fair play.

Great content guys, interesting and you’re actually showing the watches properly!!
Yea just watched to the end. Boom. It was effing awesome. VC wins for me! Pure class, pure style. Really excellent meeting of minds.
great conversation....you gave me some different insights. thx....the 1921 👍 although everyone is unique,
That 1921 Vacheron is stunning. Wow. I’ve never seen one in the wild.
🙏🏽🙏🏽
This is what I love to see from your channel!! Please continue this. Thanks from the USA
All of them are amazing watches, very interesting episode

I really enjoyed this. Moar (Viking style)!

Excellent work. Continue with this series!

Another brilliant idea guys 🙏 for me it’s the VC 1921. Dress watches isn’t my bag yet, but I may fall down that whole in time.

Love this format, great chat. Definitely like to see more of these, but with a bit more footage of the watches 👍
Great fun. Hard to pick given the choices. 1921 for me probably
Great premise and episode! I’ve tried on the 1921 (I could never afford one though). It didn’t work for me. I like Cartier, but I’m going with the UG. Love that watch, especially in steel.

Amazing format, had a few laughs, saw amazing watches, and I could certainly FEEL the energy on all of you guys. Very authentic!
Fantastic! More please.
Awesome new show, keep em coming
Love this…..
1921 > all. It's the quintessential Vacheron Constantin and there simply isn't anything like it.
Overseas from early 2000s is prettier
This is seriously my new favourite show! Andrew, that Cartier looks amazing on you. I sometimes switch a watch over to the right wrist, that really makes me look at it differently. Wear it casually, use shirts casually, mix it up.
Absolutely love this format but we definitely need more close-up shots of the watches, especially on the wrists
Justin your watches are incredible. The 1921 is an inspiration in itself. Side note, that brown jacket is hanging on for dear life
Andrew wear it three days a week for a few weeks and you will start to love it or really really hate it!! 😂😂
That Tudor is unbelievable
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the AMZWATCH's watches are the most intriguing.
Justin’s VC 1921 is the best. Totally jealous.
The VC 1921 my favorite, 36.5mm WG for me... I'm 64 yrs but i still can't wear tiny watches like the Tank normal...
As for that wonderful Cartier, hold it and wear it more, in good health.
✌🏽
The crystal on the Studio Underdog is comical.
I love the Cartier.
Id like to have a conversation with Andrew if he wants to sell it

Andrew bruv, drop the hoody and tracksuit combo
Tank Normale for the win 💪
🎉🎉🎉
Justin's VC 😮😮

Justin's Vacheron is the one for me

So Andrew said on Time on Tide the 1921 is a driver’s watch and Tim says it’s a watch designed for a vicar / priest. Who is correct?
I am 😅
@ Thought so.
The Cartier tank is beautiful. The problem is that silly bracelet your wearing.
I didn’t think you liked a sapphire crown??😂
(The nipple cringe is still real 😅)
19:27 I really didnt like seeing someone polish someone else's beloved watch, with a cloth from their own pocket, without first asking the owner's permission. Crossed a line.
Yikes, apologies, but there was a huge smear on the crystal!
Andrew, think you should flip. Other smaller dress watches will fit you better….vintage constellation, for example.
Even a G-Shock can be a dress watch, it al dependes on the person
I love the Cartier. Don't sell Andrew!!
About effing time lite
Andrew, flip it.
If you hardly wear it, what’s the point of it? Trust your own instinct not other people’s.
hes trying with video editing and prodcution...why is the subscribers would not go up
Looks like a girls watch that small Cartier
VC 1921
The gobby Australian, has too much to say and was completely out-classed, at that table........ even though his watch, was my pick.
Fabulous four. But Andrew, looks like you're wearing your grandma's watch. Get rid of it!
😂😂
That’s what his wife said too 😜
Sell

Haha YES forgot to mention the double entendre - but it is the favourite food
That 1921. 🤌🏽🤌🏽.
