This video makes me smile. It's easy for me to train and motivate my friends but so far with my family, it's been super difficult. I've been trying to ask my siblings to exercise and lead a healthier lifestyle but none of them seem to be interested. It upsets me. I hope one day they will open their hearts and workout with me. I have a question that has nothing to do with squats but with press-ups. I've learned to do press ups with a small distance between the hands, so the hands are almost below the chest as opposed to the way I used to do it and the way I've seen you guys do it with the hands placed to the sides so the arms take a larger amount of space, if you know what I mean. Which one is more correct?
I love this whole family! I'll watch you guys in anything. My only complaint about the Lean Machine videos is that they are a bit soft on the lighting. If you would add some overhead lights it would brighten up the area and energize the video, so to speak.

@TheLeanMachines What do I do if I have the opposite problem? My legs are my problem area and grow really quickly. (I'm a girl) I do bodyweight exercise, cardio and stretching/yoga in order to keep them in check. Seldom I might add a weight for squats etc... But I do get bulky muscle esp. above my knees which I don't like too much... Help! PS.: No worries, John! Your legs nonetheless look great ;-)
Hellooo! when i do the lunge with my left leg forward, my knee crunches. also crunches when i go up the stairs, doesn't hurt or anything but the sound isn't to pleasant. i'm just asking if you guys know if this is bad and i should stop? =]

@itsmee01 I think SAMs legs are naturally like that,she is very lucky.what tells me this is the fact she struggled so much on lunges especially. They will have more definition the more she trains and look even better. I love a legs session. Big muscle groups BOOM

I do 280 squats as part of my current routine and 160 lunges and my legs don't look half as good as Sam's! Gorgeous lady!
