VO5: oh NO! I used that when I was 13/14 (in the late 90's) and it stripped my hair. My curls looked ah mess!
Luster's: it worked for me or so I thought, but back then there were no other options.
I was just going to say it probably worked better because you mixed them together. When I was a teen people weren't layering products. We live and we learn.

Damn these are some classic products haha! I’ve used them all at one point in my younger years. I think the end came out great. The V05 and the LA looks gel has great reviews on the curly hair blogs so not surprised it came out good.
I’d like to see you do wearable 2-strand twists/mini twists. A lot of 3-hair type girls have been doing them and with all your hair I’d turn out great!

Pink lotion is a NO NO. When I saw a stylist, who is now my only stylist, was trying to wash my hair. And she was like wtf is in my hair lol. I told her and she was like never put that stuff in my hair again. She had to wash my hair million times to get it out.
