Here i'm exploring one of the best residential areas in Borivali, a suburb on the western line of Mumbai Suburban Railway. Borivali is popular for its natural surroundings. Borivali National Park is the most sought after location for nature enthusiasts. IC Colony in Borivali is a beautiful and popular residential area here. Though an area with diverse population, IC Colony is known for its strong sense of community, predominantly comprising Catholics. It has a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere with many churches and community events. The area boasts good infrastructure with schools, hospitals, shopping centers, and recreational facilities. This makes it convenient for families to settle in. IC Colony has good connectivity to other parts of Mumbai via the Western Express Highway and the Borivali railway station.This makes commuting easier. And compared to many other parts of Mumbai, it's one among the most clean and naturally beautiful areas in the suburbs of Mumbai. The area gets its name from the Immaculate Conception Church, a significant landmark in the colony. This Church is the central place for the local Catholic community.
