Very helpful!! My lid fell off the counter and the venting thing came off, and yes, I thought I had broken it. I'll give this a try! Thank you!
Wow! I was worried that I broke it. Thank you!
Thanks, mine got lost and now I need to get a new one but appreciate your help
Thank you! I’ve been trying to find out how to remove the valve for cleaning.
Mine won’t go back on securely. It’s all wobbly and just pops off. I don’t think this will work
Did you get it to work? Mine is the same way.
@@queenrae91 apparently that’s how it supposed to be. All loose like that. The pressure will create a seal and tighten it while cooking.
@@jjj1981jj thank you for responding. And I guess you’re right. Because mine is loose but it still works.
@@queenrae91 while I have your attention, what is your fave thing to make in the instapot?
@@jjj1981jjI'm glad I found your comment. I was about to give up and throw everything into the oven. It's just too out here for all that! I'm a bit nervous trying this thing for the first time. I tell my kids to never believe everything they read on the internet, yet here I go! 😂 I hope you're right!
Oh god I’m using it tonight. Hope I don’t put a hole in my ceiling
Can still use without the release knob?
You cannot pressure cook without the nob. Doing so will turn the machine into a bomb. Many people have been killed by faulty pressure cookers
Thanks! Wanted to make sure I didn’t break my Instant Pot. The valve came off when I was cleaning the top 😬
Was it ok? Lol
Pressure seal missing
Is it supposed to be kind of loose?
Any response to this?
yes it's kind of loose
Mine feels really loose in that is that normal?
Yes I find it’s usually quite loose
@@DIYLifeTech shortly after asking it sealed up properly I was concerned. Thanks!
What is that valve called? How to replace?
