@Toki Naga I'm using pick, hybrid picking and a lot of legato. I'm not very familiar with his fingerstyle technique so I prefer to play the licks in my own style (at the end the result is the same). For me the licks are already hard enough to play them in a style I'm not used too, but it can be fun to try one day

This looks amazing! Do the tabs show which fingers you use on the right hand to pluck each note? That would be so helpful as I’m trying to develop fingerstyle

italy and england nowdays are leading the future of modern guitarists.. Italy has This man, Luca mantovanelli, Marco sfogli, Daniele Gottardo, and so on..
England has Guthrie govan, Tom quayle, Alex hutchings, Jack gardiner, Rick graham, and so on..
Mean while American modern guitarists stil playing minor pentatonic, and boring ascending/descending run 😂

What an absolute talent, incredible skills on the guitar and I'm sure there would be a lot of jealous artists out there who can't technically do these things....but... I'm sorry to say sounds awful. No melody, no tune. You wouldn't see the Foo fighters playing this for example. Because they can't for 1, but they wouldn't be selling out arenas around the world if they were.
I think this is a very bad career move. You should focus on developing music that lives up to the e technical mastery, innate musicality, and considerable musical knowledge that you have already accumulated. Teaching technique so early in your career will only create clones and delay your musical growth.
@@blankblank7101 save your hate for someone else. I just think that someone with this talent should be making music, not teaching guitar technique online like 50,000,000 others. It’s such a waste and a poor use of the gift he has.
I see it both ways. I think it’s truly a unique opportunity and privilege to gain more insight into the phenomenal technique of such a prodigious talent, but I fundamentally agree that his own music should come first. He can do things with the guitar that virtually no other player can, and that should very much be captured in the scope of his own musical vision. I really hope he does a proper album of originals, because I have zero doubt that it will be remarkable. For now though, if he is willing and able to share some of his gift via helping others improve, I think that is a gesture to be encouraged and embraced.

I as a fan of Mancuso welcome this venture into instruction. Or better, agreeing to explain and have tabbed out stuff of his. A specific small part of his craft, 2-5-1 licks in fusion vein.
Everything gets tabbed out one way or another today, why shouldn’t the artist profit from it. I as a fan only „bond“ more with the admired performer if I understand a bit better what he does.
And realistically, how many players will actually master how many of those 20 licks? There won’t be too many Matteo clones short term but many players who he will influence
Better that he should consult UA-cam comments before making a career decision, yes? Stop living vicariously.
Randy Rhoads had no problem with simultaneously being a student, a teacher and a rising star.
Of course Matteo should create his music and also importantly: collaborate with the people who can make the thing blossom to full potential.
