In my case the watch connected via Bluetooth. Also the phone and watch app are both needed regardless if you have the Bluetooth or LTE version of the watch. If you get the Bluetooth only version like I had, I could go maybe (roughly) 100 feet before the connection to the phone would be gone. Of course there are multiple variables, such as interference from walls, if the phone is on a different level (say phone upstairs, watch downstairs) that can significantly shorten/weaken the connection, so your experience may differ.
It could be so many different things that there is no realistic way I could offer helpful advice, your best bet is to contact Samsung customer support.
I have the Galaxy On5 and it won't connect to my S3 Frontier...It says to check compatibility and try again. I thought the S3 was compatible with ANY android phone, especially with mine being a Galaxy...
+Osvaldo Perez Mine isn't an LTE version, but the ones that are have embedded non-removable SIM cards. I've heard of it being done, but I have no first hand evidence of it actually working. Best thing you can do is contact your local Metro PCS store, they'll be in the best position to give you an honest answer. Please let me know what happens, and thank you for watching!
Techdog47 - will it be compatible with my Galaxy J7 2016 model with full functionality...? Plz help me out with this. Will i be able to get all notifications without any issue? Thanx
