GM Arturs was phenomenal. Thanks for the commentary
Arthus thanking them for being role models while they are throwing fits over having lost is just so great :D
This guy was a great commentator. Keep him in mind. Great job fella.
I feel so sorry for any commentator caught in the middle of those two lol
3:30:43 Alex doing the Andrea speech parody was funny as heck lol she’s going to cash this in on Andrea so hard one day, you can bet the farm on that!
It is very difficult for me to follow the games when I never know what the actual, current positions are.
"Hey, who made me 37?" 😂😂😂
Chess is like golf, one year you hate it the next you love it. It comes in and out of your life...
Alex smiles at knowing Andrea lost………yeah…….enough said.
You can do it!
Everyone is tired, Alex.
Great commentary.
Wholesome starting intro gotta say
Disappointing final round as Alex could not convert Pawn up Rook & Pawns endgame while Andrea lost concentration in drawn endgame from sleep deprivation. Disappointing also that Alex may not have made her goal of making Canadian 2024 Olympiad team. But for solace, she did gain top award as “Best Women Player” in open B section (winning on tiebreak over Andrea both with 5.5/9).
I was taught bishops were 3 and knights were 2.5. That being said, I loved my knights as a youth.
Andrea in a Polska hat is the greatest fit she ever had
Wow... Good follow up after the game my favorite Future Grand Master...
It is hard to fight insomnia... Hope you can get some rest and recover... Keep on fighting... You had a small little dip. It felt like a major disaster; but, really a small little dip. You are leveling out. You will pull up soon. Good luck on your next tournament.
Wow... Andrea is so bubbly after the loss and was ready to learn what she did wrong and improve...
Great job on holding back on the "colorful metaphors"...
My favorite 12 year old future Chess Master... Or do you prefer "children slayer" on the chess board?
It´s this GM Gotham Chess Trainer?
Yes
3:51:20 we played Baba Warba😂
GM's comment this is deep, lol, wtf is going on..
I've been following from Mexico
Being a quitter is actually the only way to be a loser.
3 hours 20 mins into a game and it ends with a very solemn draw. I don't get the appeal/excitement of chess =p
Alex, at the end you made the decision to stay, so it's your call. Don't point at Andrea in an unfair way. Take good care for yourselves, because during the 6 chess-tournaments this year, I see
signals that can be 'tricky'. You girls do need a solid break without working, no streaming, just be lazy and get fat :-)
Maybe the Botez sisters could win some Under-8 tournament! (they "qualify" for Under-8 based on their "results"!)
❤ sub and wonderful day😘

She played with a bad attitude, so a defeat was inevitable. She only wanted to go home, because she lost in R7. Had she drawn, the heat and the sleep wouldn't have been a problem, nor the scheduling issue. She just had a big sulk because she lost. Very childish. She needs to toughen up, if she wants to compete with the 2200+ group. She was undefeated for 18 games! Hardly any of us can boast such a run! I don't know about anyone else, but I'm happy if I win two games in a row lol
19 games. 16 wins & 3 draws. Awesome run, I'd like to calculate her performance rating over that period.
Agreed….think what bothered me was when smiled as Andrea was losing…..horrible sport.
Very disappointed at Alex's bad attitude displayed in this tournament. Definitely lost some respect for her.
the first 8:30 of this is the best part of the video. lol
This is Europe. It is hot in summer. We don't generally use AC. If you get tilted, then don't play chess or poker. If you hate your sister, don't spend all your time with her.
Europeans: We're better than Americans! Also Europeans: Yes, I smell bad and it's hot in my house. We don't have central air. Just open a window to let more hot air inside...
Hotels have AC, the question is why did they turn it off at night?
If you have that big of problems then don't watch.
you are a delight.
Not true about AC. In southern Europe almost everyone have AC. Only at North where climate is colder people do not buy AC.
Some us Americans could use some soccer/fútbol education.
What fatpened to Andrea
This guy talks too much. Cover the game man. One or two variations not all the possibilities
Agreed, especially for beginners. And he totally missed what happened on Andreas game. He said she lost but wasn't that just a draw? I don't see a lose here just because she is down a pawn.
@@YoDaProshe lost
I agree. The entire commentary left me in the dark as to what was actually going on in either game. Then, the end of Andrea's game was completely ignored.
I like this guy
Alex is such a poor sport whiner. If you can't hack losing at chess....play checkers.
