Recently we managed to get our Dark Ranger to level 7. Let's take things to the next level and go for a LVL 10 DR!
Thank you for posting an NE game. I was just about to complain about you posting a disproportionate amount of orc games lately. It's fun to watch you play human and NE.
Would you say that Dark Ranger should become an undead hero and Dreadlord a tavern hero?

@@yofdldlek Well i see you clearly didnt even think about the facts for this idea instead you commented like a headless chicken. First of all this year W§ reforged arrives which purpose is not only in making better graphics but also in having a reason new game which gives the oppurtunity to update the game and creating more content. Updates to a game, doesnt matter how old it is, follow only the purpose of correcting mistakes or bringing new content and are not only normal but asked for. Fact is that the undead faction has no agile hero while they have a hero in the tavern who fits into the idea because it was designed to be one. This is the dark ranger. This hero also led one of the 8 campain chapters and is from the lore aspect more an undead hero than the demon that can summon even more demons while dark ranger can create undead unites and has an abilities simular to the banshee unit. An aura hero in the tavern would not only be not bad it would be quiet good due to the fact that the tavern is there to provide the players with all kind of heros to play with. So in conclusion the only reason why the dreadlord is even in the undead arsenal is because he was a hero before the frozen throne but the 2 new heros that came with this expansion are both more fitting than the dreadlord. So please rethink your comment because you clearly didnt think about what you were talking about and you brought arguments which clearly arent so effective.
@@joelschittenhelm5571 I can agree with that Dreadlord is a demon and Dark Ranger is an undead. But Dark Ranger is the only way for other races to get zergling or villager. I don't think it should be changed. I used to see them where they are now. Replacing heroes is very big change.
By the way Night Elves have no Strength heroes and Humans have no Agility Heroes.

Throwing Charm on enemy units and then Staff of Preservation to take them back to your town hall without giving enemy a chance to counter is _hilarious._ ^_^
Even better: Throw Charm and Staff of Preservation effect on them through the trees (done at least once).

Why do people without fail choose an epic end-of-game battle when Grubby needs to focus most to send their long heartfelt message. Like literally any other time in the stream would have been great.
Haha yea I noticed that too. But not just with Grubby, with any streamer. Maybe the 'epic moments' make the fans hearts race faster, and they feel a stronger urge to confess their adoration at those moments!? We can only speculate.
@@YouLoveBeef I love sending heart felt moments at inconvenient times. I feel like when the heart wants to speak and thinks the time is right. There is no time to waste other than to type the message and hit enter.

Nice game! Could have charmed a peasant to build a human shop for easier healing for your army I think.
Yeah, god i love RTS that lets you take over workers from the other factions and build stuff, wacky and sometimes OP combos
I'm surprised that he didn't realise in order to maintain such a big army you needed an expansion.....

The level you are playinfg at is INSANE to me. Every time I am like "Ok, he is definitely losing one of those bears now" and then he pulls it back JUST IN TIME and bodyblocks with some other units to make it save... or whenever he casually immediately dispells slow on a retreating unit to save it.
I really don't envy anyone playing against Grub! xD

I used to target workers with Charm, so I could build the enemy's buildings, and train the enemy's units.
It was/is my fav ability, what's more fun than trying weird hero/unit combos?
I generally prefer banshees tho, they don't require recruiting a hero you may not want and waiting till it's lvl6...

I feel like DR compliments well in combination with the NE army since she can quickly create a cannon fodder that the NE army lacks so much otherwise. She isn't that great in the mid/late game as some other available heroes though.
Was that guy Tier 2 the whole game? Did he even have a opportunity to build Blood Mage for Mana Siphon?
Surprised Human opponent didn't get Breakers -- not so great once Charm has had a chance to operate about 3 times, but would have helped Human a lot before that, by stealing Rejuvenation.

Couple of noob questions: Why prioritize charming riflemen instead of priests/sorceress? And why didn't he make glaive throwers seeing as his opponent had a ton of buildings right there?
The dwarf hero would tear up the glaives and they block the armies movement really bad so all his ranged units would be out of position. He picked riflemen because you don't get the research of the other faction so priests and witches will only have level 1 ability with very slow Mana growth and night elves have much faster ways to heal and the extra micro of the sorceress would be a lot for a unit that has short range and will be killed easily

I'm just curious as to why you level drain life again at 4 instead of 1 point into silence for some of those clutch kills that could be great against blademaster.
In one of your other recent Dark Ranger videos the BM gets away several times because of windwalk or shadow hunter heals.
Wouldn't it be better to have the silence for some of these scenarios rather than 2 points into drain? Especially on night elf where you can replenish mana at wells

That must have solved those towers really soon
At that point, it was more economical 2 charm mortar teams instead of building glaives.

As far as I can tell, even after the recent change, Glaive Throwers are more powerful attackers than Mortars, as long as you can keep them alive (which is admittedly harder).

Sylvanas turned into banshee but can't change forces. High Elves followed their new Sylvanas, and with time passed on, they turned into Night Elves.

On a bigger map, yes, maybe, but here all creep camps were already taken and a lvl 1 hero would be just a walking XP tome at this point

charmed like 10 units, which makes it 20unit difference... still not easy. LOL.
Because the charmed units dosent havent the upgrade atk and def, they are weeks. But they save the gold disadvantage of the elves.

Man if he had just sent a couple units to that expansion early on he would have had you. If your army left he could just attack into your main base with his main attack force
