21:40 cool fight, the absolute panic in the blink spamming the moment you realize mk could hammer your warden, then outranging him into airhammer, noice
Woah that dude really was relentless. He really brought the war to your base(s). Wave after wave like a never ending onslaught from a campaign mission. I guess almost anyone else would have crumbled.
i think 2-3 more moonwell would make so much diff in this game it's insane, like moonwell is like unit that can heal and cost no upkeep, need to be treathed more as a unit not as a building itself, really nice game :)
man, I"m not too sure... I honestly think the Pala *HAD **_ENOUGH_** mana for a Holy Light !!* ... _AND_ it was *OFF cooldown* too !! So, Grubby's "timing" wasn't really anything special... It was just _THE HUMAN player_ that didn't get his Holy Light in time !! :P .
If once he was level 6 or even earlier he had Panda, so he'd have panda 5 and warden 8 it would've been a lot easier to hold.. this is from his own advice from back in the day :D it seemed so close, i just dont understand how he did so much damage to his economy and still was so close... but on the other hand, he never touched his main or 1st expo, so the HU had full mining from 2 bases + 75% mining from the 3rd while grubby had 2 bases at best for most of the game... awesome video edit in the end to leave the sweaty armpits bit in the vod as well :D :D :D
constant tug of war or how is it called, both of you were attacking and defending at the same time, i think the copters were the changing point. It gave grubby some time(several seconds) to save the Tree of life. Once the gold was flowing in it was only a matter of time. Perfect micro regarding the hero and the store(the blink was out of this world), but overall good micro from both players. The teleportation of wounded units was astonishing. The slowing poison of the driads was the key also. Well played.
Fantastic game, I was watching it front 3rd view, on @Wanderbraun channel and it was amazing watching you struggling couple times, but it saemed you got it under control after all, ❤, thank you!
First time I've ever seen someone have a maxed out level 10 first hero and a 0 EXP level 1 second hero at the same time. Still new things to see in WC3!
Hey Grubby! cheers from Brazil! I remember since 2005~2006 playing together other big legends like showtime, stryder, 4kFoV, and u playing Orcs like nobody else! This is the new blizzar war TfT? Have a lot of bnet players yet? GG HF DUDE
Props to PriesT for being able to keep the offensive for so long even when he was just feeding you levels at one point (that double attack that destroyed two Trees was amazing), too bad the fact that you weren't mining for the most part meant he ran out of gold much earlier.
Aptly named game. Nuanced skirmishes left and right to win battles within battles that will eventually determine the outcome of the war. Game knowledge and mechanics on a whole nother level.
Could anyone explain why he didn't get a second hero sooner? Even when his warden was 9 and 10, there were times he could have gotten panda much sooner
wow, didn't know grubby pays attention to youtube people aswell! i wasn't the one who said didn't like goat sound (but it was annoying imo) and i gotta say i like peon sound a lot more. loved the attention
Dang that was a good game. I get its the meta, but kinda sucks you gotta deal w/ tanks vs HU now in some matchups. That rock golem w/ slow was really smart way to deal w/ them wow.
@@AnimeCritical"Noble countrymen, evil is upon us. Darkness has befallen our shores. Rise and slay thy enemies… strike, strike so others shall live. 100% agree with matchmaking if you have 60% win rate you're still climbing. At some point it will slow down and even out and you'll be at your rank. That's where you won't decisively win or decisively lose you'll just have good close games
May I suggest crafting situations where shadow strike poison can do some work? early game two archers died taking down one footy that was going to die from poison anyway. shadow strike early, for one, even before engaging. It's not a waste. Generally speaking, that unit will be mostly useless for that battle due to slow and low hp. I won most of my warden games by shadow striking relentlessly. watching you use SS to last hit units when dryad and warden were attacking it kind of hurts my soul, lol. Paladin does really screw up that plan. I would swap to fan of knives vs high level pales

You should know that in CIS region we do watch casts on warcraft 3, and i just watched this your game on Wanderbraun chanel, you know, like with commenting and analytics. The great game, with some micro mistakes from you and huge macro mistakes from Priest. He didnt use tanks and army to attack simultaneously. Anyway so love to see you playing freshing strats. I personally think that if you already were building a lot of Ancients of War, you probably can build just one (how you call it in eng) Ancient of wind? For the fairy fire alongside with golem slow, just 1 hippo to control zepps. It is so fun to watch the cast from observer view seeing some mistakes and decisions from both players, but then also see it in game with commenting from your point, it is just very informative and interesting to me
I think the key was that Human ran out of gold while trying to sustain 3rd expo for upkeep, and Grubby kept denying that. Eventually, even though Grubby kept losing his 2nd and 3rd expos, it's the endgame sustain that kept him alive. Ultimately the constant and relentless defence, harras, micro, and value plays made Grubby outlast. I think even though Grubby lost many battles, he still won the war. It is Warcraft afterall, not Battlecraft.
More drops than Terran, crazy stuff. Could have been. To get a hippogryph, or 2-3 crow form druids. Also, that tree of Life had to have tanked tens of thousands of damage, at massive expense to the human. Absolutely bonkers game
Hi Grubby . I have a question. Theoretically in real life sapper should works against tanks what about in WC3? I never try to use sapper against tanks. TIA
Regarding matchmaking quality: There are different means to achieve 50/50 winrate. If you are matched with extremely better or extrmely worse players to ensure you always go back and forth between winning and losing, thats also 50/50 but is bad design because you have no chance at winning in every second game.
Well 50% can vary at the most extremes, like the worst player and the best player can have more than that like 65% or 35% but those are fringe cases and just because they can happen it doesn't mean they do but you do see it in some competitions where there is a party that is just so above the rest.
It can be awkward to get a second hero when you've waited so long, since there will be no creeps left to level him up with, and he'll be weak enough that he will die quickly when targeted by the enemy's late-game army
Can someone explain to a lowly age of empires player why grubby didn’t get a second hero when his warden hit 10? He was floating resources out the wazoo at the time
Why not chimaera? It could make dust of the knights and siege machines... and a second here since the level 10 reached could be maked more fast the win.
Dude will be having sweaty nightmares with that Warden, only to wake up from an iron hand of justice on his shoulder.
