Nice videos mate, really helpful - nice to see someone in the northwest area, thinking about starting up in a small van in the coming months - sick of the daily grind of working in construction (got to be more to life 😂) keep them coming mate . Take care
Nice figures there buddy... I'm hoping to get those soon when I start doing longer distances. Just started within the last month in a small van doing work mainly in Midlands and North West and loving it so far. Had some well paying jobs going down south, managed to get jobs within those areas but struggled for backloads in that neck of the woods due to competition... I'm going to start stopping out/tramping in the New Year though so this should be less of an issue. Keep up the good work.
Hi mate, I've been thinking about getting into this kind of work in the new year and your videos have been really helpful. I live in Northwich as well and it sounds like this is a decent area. After watching everyone's videos (you, big beardy, Pete, etc) it's still hard to get an idea of a monthly/year wage. I know it all depends on repairs and other factors. It would be very helpful if you could share your takings and expenses for a longer period of time. Cheers mate.
If a company are paying for a same-day courier delivery it's because someone as messed up or the product is a line stopper or high value and can't be put on overnight network incase of damage. Co-loading as absolute no no. I will block you from any of my GTM on cx.
What you on about sorry? I was told I could co-load on that delivery specifically by the shipper. I don’t Co-load any delivery unless agreed to thank you
Meanwhile in the real world all courier companies co load and a lot of jobs are next day drop, unsuitable for pallet network and timed deliveries with flexibility etc
So you can’t co-load if it’s agreed by both shippers? On this particular job the shipper said I could co-load I didn’t even ask. Also it wasn’t a same day delivery it was deliver in the morning - I’m failing to see your point? I NEVER co-load a ‘hot shot’

Good to see you doing well mate, good luck with the van reliability. I'm 3 weeks into my CX experience. Gone ok so far 👌

Is your van classed as a swb or mwb? I don't know what difference is I think they both fit 2 pallets only?
Yer tot ton near me I’m in Portsmouth
I so want to do what your doing but don't have the money to get the business going!
What area are you in Gary?
I'm potentially looking for a driver.
Nice video Tom
👍👍👍👍
Try and get familiar with your van and fix the jobs you can. I repair my vehicle. Doesn’t matter what it is I always get it done.

@Giorgio Nanni see my earlier response. The fact you ask would mean you won't get any of my work
