I remember your video of him and Eton arriving at your yard. Can’t believe how far he has come. Love the way you train your horses and build that bond with them. Awesome cross country 👍🏻
WHAT A RIDE....WY IS LIKE THE BEST, THE BEST, FOR SURE. I AM A LITTLE MUSTANG AND I CAN EAT GROUND UP ALL DAY IN ALL TYPES OF TERRAIN. LOVE THAT PAINTED PONY BOY. GREAT RIDE YOU TWO. THANKS FOR TAKING US ALONG. Susan
I know that there’s a time limit that is definitely a lot slower than Wyatt is. But, I wish you had to do a “run home buddy” to get time and watch his little legs gallop haha
I can't help but think where Wyeth would be in his progression but for his health issues early on. He is such a good boy and you have done a wonderful job bringing him on.
your one of my fav equestrian youtubers cause you talk to your horse the whole time. not one of those losers just riding to make money and get trophys. stay amazing
I remember Wy being so skittish and scared... now he's like "Mom, those fences are boring, can we go higher and faster?" Such a lovely pony, it's always a joy to watch him. He's doing so great!
Thanks for the videos that let us watch the different rides you give horses of all levels - beginner novice to advanced at one event. It’s tremendously helpful.
A fine way to start off your day...... Little Wy sure did cast a long shadow on the cross country course, and proved himself more than worthy to ride along with the big boys in Kentucky!
Yay Wyeth! Love a pretty Paint. The funniest "narrative" popped into my head, thinking back on his wild beginnings---"Let's take a 1200 lb. Prey Animal, climb on top of it, and ask it to jump over stuff..." lol! Magnificent!
This was challenging for beginner novice. You’ve shown Wy so many venues that he was not fazed. It was a true pleasure to watch this. Congratulations//another beautiful day at KFP, another notch on Wy’s belt!
Honestly, I think Wyeth is my favorite. Granted my only view of him is from your helmet cam, but he seems like one of those kids who has a sense of humor and takes joy in life in general.
What an amazing ride and team you make, he is gorgeous and made it look like walk in the park ! Love following your journey together and all the others too 😁👍🐴🐴
I think it's rather a shame you have to break his lovely rhythm to make time! Seems the optimum is quite slow, or is he faster than he looks (quite relaxed and happy!)?!!
Yep! You can get penalties for going too slow or fast. The course has an optimal time, and a time to get to each fence at. The people at each fence write it as a penalty if you jump before or after that optimal.
Valerie, not to correct you per se, but please permit me to rephrase what you said just a bit. The jump judges at this event (I was one) were requested to record the actual clock time that each rider passed over our assigned fence by noting that time on the same scoresheet upon which we recorded whether each horse jumped clear, refused, had a run-put, etc. However, we did not score any penalties per se. That’s the scorer’s job after he or she receives all of the jump judges’ sheets back for each division. This may sound like splitting hairs, but I want to be sure that people don’t get the idea that jump judges do the actual scoring. That’s left entirely in the scorer’s hands. A jump judge can immediately consult an event’s technical delegate if the jump judge isn’t certain how many refusals a horse had or something like that, and we often do. But a jump judge only records what he or she sees. The ultimate decision about how many penalty points are assessed is not the jump judge’s province. If a rider wishes to challenge a penalty point assessment, he or she does so by lodging a formal complaint either technical delegate (TD), who will then question the jump judge as a fact witness. I’ve had this happen. But the TD makes the final call, which is made official through the person of the scorer. This is probably too much information, but the jump judge’s observations are never the final say on who gets assessed penalty. Most of the time, we are confident of what we see, so it’s not an issue.
@@fleetskipper1810 thank you so much! I had no idea there was so much behind it! I event but I’ve never done anything judging wise, it’s super cool to learn more about it and how things actually go, thank you for the information!

The announcer sounded excited to say that Wy was a Mustang

And Sharpie sitting back at the trailer is like "...did she say she went too fast on Wy??? No such thing."
What a great job! So wonderful to see a horse like him eventing.
I like how the people at the beginning say "have a great time" or things like that. They don't need to, so it's nice!
He is super cute! I love that you do the aftercare yourself instead of handing him off to someone else to hose and settle in after your run.

I know, right? A true rescue for his LIFE. Now he is Whole and Well.

Does Wy get a lot of attention when people find out he’s a mustang. Good to see him out there doing his thing.
I remember Wy being so skittish and scared... now he's like "Mom, those fences are boring, can we go higher and faster?" Such a lovely pony, it's always a joy to watch him. He's doing so great!
I really like Wyeth's smooth strides. You both did an awesome job. ^^
Wy is so darned cute, I love seeing how far he had come. I hope to meet you at the Mustang Magic in January!
What a strong little dude! You guys have come so far form the beginning!
From* small typo lol

Ahhhh! My favorite mustang is back 🥰
That was a beautiful, relaxed ride. He is more "fit"than he looks. Thank you for sharing.Michael
Wow he’s doing amazing

Loved the baby coffin jump!!!
Thanks, Elisa saving Wyeth.

Awww, Wyeth is just the sweetest, great job!!
Wyeth Is such a great looking horse! His red mane is striking! He’s a lucky boy to have been chosen for the best life with you.
You guys did great! Wy is a champ! What a wonderful
Eventer he is becoming.
Nice to see you in a good mood.
I never saw anyone slow down in competition? lol You are fantastic Elisa!
What an amazing ride and team you make, he is gorgeous and made it look like walk in the park ! Love following your journey together and all the others too 😁👍🐴🐴
I used to ride an old lesson horse named Wyeth, I competed with him in flat equitation classes as a child. Great little horse you have there.
What a gorgeous horse! 👍👍❤️🤍💙🇺🇸 He did so well, I love him!
Happy to see you still have him
💕 definite soft spot for Wy
I love how you ride the big fancy warm bloods 'Let It Be Lee' and then you take the wee Mustangs round !! Not many people would want to do that. 💗
Lee is actually a thoroughbred and wy is technically a warmblood :)
Wyeth is such a good boy!
This is such a relaxing ride compared to 4+* competitions 😂
Aw! Wyeth IS a rock star!
Dang I was here while that was going on but couldn’t go. Hmmm it’s fine
So good to see a little horse like a Mustang take on eventing. They really don't get enough credit as a breed.
I love Wy so much! Elisa, you are a huge role model to me! I'm hoping that I can get me and my mustang into eventing because of you!!
Chillest cross country cam ever
Just love that sweet mustang...
Love seeing those cute red ears! Go Wy Go!
Can we get a barn vlog one day?
EARLY. Awesome vid, as always.
I hope you'll be moving Wy up a level soon! He did so good!
Wyeth loves xcountry!

Beginner novice time is always slower than you think :)
Oh my!!!! I wish my mustangs was as good as this boy!!!! Great job!!!
You made that look so easy
His shadow is cool to watch as he goes the course
No breathing hard, attentive and so cute. Great job💕
He was awesome!
What a beautiful relationship!
27! Also amazing video :)
Wy looks so good!!
No Eton - did he not qualify? Not coming along as quickly as Wy? Not showing enough interest/enjoyment in XC?
Im pretty sure he did qualify, I just don’t think she has put up the vid.
He just missed qualifying. I also had 5 already competing so it’s been a full week.
He made that looks so easy!
Why did you slow him down to a trot? Is there a penalty for going to fast?
I think so, yes
Yep! You can get penalties for going too slow or fast. The course has an optimal time, and a time to get to each fence at. The people at each fence write it as a penalty if you jump before or after that optimal.

Awesome!!!
LOVE IT :) great ride, he is super cute
2:29 you can see him do a flyer in his shadow
He's gorgeous 😍
I love Wy he's one of my favorites but I love all horse's LoL.
love!!!
Will Wy ever got to intermittent level or stay at novice as Wy isn't that tall 14.1?
Depends on him. How much talent or scope he has, if he can handle the higher levels, etc
such a good boy.
What place did you get?
Go Mustang! So cute...
i recognize that App!!
He is SO cute!!!
First 🥰🥰
God I wish I could ride again. I miss it so. Maybe para eventing will be invented
