7:33 This is literally the only time the F train goes *this* fast with the new wheels.
I thought that sound was worn bearings. Of course not since all 10 cars would need to have the same defect.

When it first got overhauled it was a consecutive set so which means all 10 cars actually did sound like this, and it sounded amazing when it departed the station standing in the front, but then it got separated just a few days later and only half set sounded like this.

Do you know what causes this?
Its because they replaced the wheels on this set during SMS. I think this happens every 7 years
SMS means Scheduled Maintenance System
do you know what set these wheels are on?
Yes it was 8963 - 8967 but this new wheel sound only lasts about 2 weeks unfortunately.
So if you were to find this set now it will be sounding normal since this was taken back in February

I don’t hear a difference
The main propulsion is still the same, the difference here is the sound the wheels make when the train is running and it's not grinded rails either. If you can't hear a difference idk what else to tell ya g
