I've been searching for a good Intermezzo review and I'm so glad I finally found one. It's surprising how this channel is still very lowkey. You're very entertaining to watch :))
Haven’t read the book, but your review of it is one of the best I've come across in a long time. I love how you talked about the book and its theme and just enjoyed your vlog overall! Excited to watch more of your videos in the future!
stumbled across your channel this afternoon, and i'm so glad i did. i loved this video!! you have such a calming presence and interesting perspectives :)
This video flew into my discover page and I loved it!! First, it’s nice meeting you Kate 경민. And second, I heard little bit (very) about Intermezzo and it’s not the genre of books I usually gravitates towards so I wasn’t planning on reading but after hearing your thoughts about the book, I would love to read it myself and will be purchasing the book today. Thanks for the cozy vlog and sharing your thoughts!
nice to meet you too!! and i hope you enjoy it or at least find it interesting :) i do think it's fun to read just as a collective experience with other people who are also experiencing the book with you! thank you for watching :)
this is such an interesting review! i've only ever read normal people, but i figured rooney's writing style is not for me so i don't gravitate towards her work that much but this video kinda makes me want to give her another chance 😅 congrats on the sponsorship btw! and hope you can make more of these "read with me" sort of videos 🫶
thank you sm!! i think if you're feeling up for it 'intermezzo' is definitely the one to go for :D i also didn't love her other ones that much (i found them pretty readable, but just not much impact) but i thought this one just had more meaning/felt sharper! and yay i'll def try to make more in the future :)) thank you againn
your review made me pick up the library copy of intermezzo I’ve been procrastinating reading! this’ll be my third rooney, and I adored beautiful world where are you but normal people not so much, so I’m curious about my reaction to it, especially because i’ve been reading virginia woolf and I see some similarities in their writing
oooh i'm so curious to hear your thoughts!! i actually felt quite meh ab beautiful world and liked normal people a tiny bit more? but this one was definitely my favorite! i also LOVE woolf omg i hope you're enjoying her work
this has encouraged me to pick the book back up! i was struggling through Peter’s sections but it seems like the payoff is well worth it! loved this reading vlog🩵
loved this video!! I'm not the biggest sally rooney fan but intermezzo is on my hold list since I am curious to see if this one's better than her other works as people say :) do you have a goodreads by chance?
ooh yes i'm so curious to hear what you think !! and i don't really use goodreads anymore :'( but i am on storygraph!! (altho... it is not too updated rn haha) i've linked it in a pinned comment above if you want to check it out/be friends on there!
So good to see that you‘re fully enjoying korea’s fall! 🥰 and the book as well! I’ve read normal people before and i really want to try this one as well. By the way how do you buy english books in Korea? I feel like it’s really difficult to buy eng books unless it is a best sellers.
omg HIII you have to let me know what you think!! i just bought this one at kyobo hehe but i think it was there bc it's so popular!! i usually read the other ones on my kindle (which is an e-reader for english books!)
