I recently discovered the dark academic aesthetic. I have never been attracted to an aesthetic before! Dark Academia embodies a lot of things I've come to like.
All music in the video is owned by me, the sounds are used by my piano.

A profound sense of awe came over me once I realised you were personlly playing the piano. Thank you
I realised after finishing listening to it that you were personally playing the piano and i cant tell you good these songs are......im studying maths with so much productivity. Thank you
THE WAY I AM ACTUALLY STUDYING IN OXFORD LIBRARY (keble college) AHHH, dream come true
Congratulations🎉
It’s 1 AM, im lying on the floor and reading my book with this playlist and i just cant say how amazing my time is, thank you🌱💓
Make some snowballs and snowmen would be so much fun
Not good for your eyes though. hehe
O braço não cansa? 😂
You should sleep early an wake uo early instead of staying awake so late. Tha´s what i do and is awesome, cause you hacve the magic of the dark high morning, but you don´t feel tired.
*There's a poetic depth to dark academia music that resonates with those who seek solace in the shadows of existence, finding beauty in the quiet moments of introspection and reflection*
To everyone who's studying with this music:
Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy
Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.
I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight
DISCLAMER: I did not create this, I found it on other playlists. I still wanna help people out and get them through any stress (:
Nice, do tyou know by any chance the name of these songs?
This is so thoughtful 💛
If you can stretch during your short break even better! (physical therapist/physiotherapist student here).
One more item to add to the Check List... STOP READING, FOCUS, AND GET TO WORK!
not too much water, or it depletes the sodium in your kidneys and they dont function as well. see hyponatremia..
This sort of reminds me a lot of my elementary school. It was a very very old school. but the old world building style and architecture and the smell of it is very nostalgic to me
It was a chilly autumn evening as I made my way to the Oxford library. I had a deadline coming up, and I needed to make sure I had all my research done before I could start writing my paper. The library was always a haven for me, a place where I could focus without any distractions.
As I entered the library, the usual bustling sounds were absent. It was eerily quiet, the only sounds were the occasional rustling of papers and the soft shuffling of feet. I glanced up at the clock on the wall and realized it was already past 10 pm. The library was about to close, and I had to hurry.
I made my way to the second floor, where my favorite study spot was located. The room was empty, and I felt like I had the entire place to myself. The only source of light was my laptop screen, and the only sound was the tapping of my fingers on the keyboard.
Hours passed as I delved deeper into my research, trying to find the perfect quote or statistic to support my thesis. The only break I took was to grab a quick snack from the vending machine. But as the night wore on, my concentration began to wane.
The library was now completely silent, and I could hear every sound I made. I looked around and realized I was the only one left. It was a strange feeling, being alone in such a big library. I took a deep breath and tried to focus, but my mind kept wandering.
The clock struck midnight, and suddenly the room was plunged into complete darkness. I froze, not sure what to do. I realized that I had been so focused on my work that I hadn't noticed the time. I searched for my phone, but it was dead. Panic set in, and I tried to remember the way out of the library.
I stumbled around in the dark, my heart pounding in my chest. But then I remembered that there was a security guard on duty. I made my way to the front desk, and there he was, sitting quietly, reading a book. I breathed a sigh of relief and asked for his help.
He led me out of the library and into the cool night air. As I walked back to my dorm, I couldn't help but feel a sense of exhilaration. I had survived my first night studying at the Oxford library. And although I wouldn't recommend getting locked in at night, I knew that I would always remember that night as a unique experience.
this was the cringiest shit i've ever read and i study at oxbridge

Matches perfectly with the muted golf tournament I’m watching.
I’m amazed by this playlist, and I almost lost it when I realized it’s all play by you??? I thought it was just another piano playlist, thank you so so much for all the beautiful music 💖
Say, I remember that background, It's from the first harry potter movie. thanks for making this possible for me! ;-)
Oh it’s been a while since I heard such an amazing playlist. I would love you eternally if you putted this in Spotify.
I am reading The Count of Monte Cristo. I'm glad that I found the background music fitting. Really appreciate it!😇
Great book! Only disappointment was Dumas didn’t keep it going like he did with the Three Musketeers series.
Or maybe it was better this way, we can only speculate how it worked out for Edmond Dantes.
There’s a certain longing brought forth through beautiful pieces like this. Perhaps it is the anonymity of the composer and listener that allows us to be real with one and another - connecting on a deeper level.
Wonderful! Thank you very much.
That version of "bir gunah gibi" gave me literal chills. Very good
this help me soooo much thank youuuu
Beautiful piano music, thank you very much!

Time at uni is the best time for those who love pursuing his or her own passions. Nowhere else can give you the atmosphere and the environment suitable and so adorable like this. Please don't do anything else but study.

The last piece is tragically beautiful.

Hello, I noticed some of your early vids have been removed. There was one with the song "Melting Waltz" at around the 7 min mark, and the picture on the video was of Edinburgh. If you know wich one I mean, could you perhaps write the song list if you still have it?
I think I know what playlist you are talking about. If it has other songs like Edith's theme, the prologue from Beauty and the Beast, Once Upon a Dream, etc, there is a playlist on Spotify that replicated it. It's called "You're in a haunted victorian mansion (replica)" by CalamariCalamity. I hope this helps!

Mans just trying to study and I swear there is something otherworldly about this school. I swear the paintings are moving.
Some scenes from Harry Potter are actually taken in Oxford
Nobodys gonna comment about the playlist ending? 😂
You do realize that the picture on the video is not Oxford, but in fact is Hogwarts, right?
Amazing piano collection, why don't you give credit to the composers by writing down the list of songs.....
Ease up Karen
Also read the description. He is playing all these songs and owns them. Maybe just enjoy things instead of needing to complain and be sucky
Maybe just be grateful this is available to you at the touch of a finger?
