Wow this was better than the owner's manual, the manual gives you're a couple ways to do this job but are somewhat confusing at the same time. Great video.
Fucking finally someone with common sense and gets straight to the point. So many videos of people giving a dictionary explanation about the learn button on the garage door. Thank you
Thank you very much for this helpful and up-to-date video for newer ford models, helped me set up my garage opener for my recently purchased 2017 mustang ecoboost 👍
Thanks again! Had to program an investment property and this worked like a charm. Great choice on the King Ranch by the way. I have a 2018 Platinum and absolutely love it.
If you park your vehicle outside in the driveway you may want to rethink putting your code into the garage door opener. Even while the truck is not running or under power the garage door opener remains active. Meaning if someone breaks into your vehicle they mediately have access to your garage.
@@vicsgxr Actually that is not the case with the F150 and the built-in HomeLink universal remote control. It remains fully functional 24/7, unless you physically remove the battery from the vehicle. Thanks, but as a Ford F150 owner I can assure you that you are 100% emphatically wrong.
This is great, but how do you program a second door. Obviously you would do it the same way, but you don't want to delete the previous programmed door, holding the two outside buttons for 20 seconds, so how do you program a door while keeping a previously program door?
Tried this on my 15 F150 and 24 expedition. Did not work? The process works the same for every vehicle and all the videos explain both these methods? I guess my opener isn’t compatible

It took less time to watch this video and program it than to search for the section in the manual. 🔥 🔥 🔥
OMG IT WORKED FOR ME!!! I don't know why I couldn't do it with Ford's own video, but yours did it for me. Thanks!!!
Subscribing!

Straight to the point and it works on 2022 still

Great video on a 2019 F 150 in 2024!

ive never understood why these car companies do this, makes no sense, should be a key on function.
They would still have access with a regular garage door opener too lol.
@@tymorris7677 my comment was for those intelligent enough to realize you don't leave a key to your home in a vehicle parked outside.
when your car is locked everything dies on it so there’s no access to the remote link

Mine wont learn. The learn light blinks but my remote wont sync with it
This worked perfectly, many thanks
Well done

Thanks
@NO4DS4ME: Can I program my homelink without a remote control unit?
Can you do it without the portable remote present?
Nope
Anyone know how to do this in a 2024 raptor it didn’t work doing this
is motor running while doing?
No just turn on accessories.
You insanely messed up my garage bcs of this vodeo
I have the same exact truck. Not working that easy for me. Pretty sure its me remote and the garage door opener i have
next video make the music louder I can almost hear what you’re saying
The first way didn't function and how do I the second way 🤔
You would have to use the learn button on the garage door opener
Didn't work with my F-150
Did not work. Second method did not work. My garage door opener does NOT HAVE A LEARN BUTTON. Useless video.
It's either 100 years old or it does have a learn button but you can't find it.
You should work on communication skills if you’re going to post how to videos
Thank you!
Thanks!
