its 12:23am, I just finished pretty much all of my art projects in one night and now I'm in my warm comfy bed listening to this beautiful soundtrack and texting someone i care about. I have school in 6 hours but I just want to stay up and enjoy the night, and not worry about tomorrow because life has been going so fast lately. i am calm and content right now, and this game and soundtrack means a lot to me. anyway sorry for the rant, I hope anyone who reads this has a good day/night

The background music of Life is Strange always leaves pit in my stomach. A good pit. I love it. It works its way into my throat and sits there. No other music has ever done that to me before. I live it. I can't get enough of it.

This game is something special, it's hands down the best plot i know and i kinda read russian classics and all that. The imagery is just outside of this world, sometimes it feels like 1000 years old schizophrenic made it: too deep and accurate on some level i don't understand

yknow for some reason scrolling through this comment section is a surreal feeling when paired with the music, i feel these connections with strangers in the past, all commenting their feelings when listening to this soundtrack, and knowing what they feel is what i’m feeling, this warm and nauseous feeling of nostalgia and bliss, this might not ever be seen but i just had the need to share this, so if you see this in 3 months or 3 years just know that a stranger 1000 miles away from the past knows what you’re feeling
I love the calmness and the quiet comfort of this music. I wish I could play life is strange again without knowing that game yet,to experience this masterpiece again.
when he was born, i took care of my son because i didn't have a job. this soundtrack accompanied me for the first few months, it reminds me of the lightness and intensity of those moments.

Life is Strange, despite being a game with many, many flaws, will always be important to me. Seeing past some of the awkward dialogue or odd plot points and you'll find a story, atmosphere, and feeling simply unlike anything I've seen yet. Arcadia Bay is still one of my favorite video game settings, primarily because of the slow, calming mood it envokes despite all that happens in its borders. Part of that is because of how this amazing soundtrack was used to paint a landscape that became a character just as much as Max and Chloe did
Exactly how I feel. I know there’s plenty of places where the game could be better and I see why some people may not like it but it’s never really negatively affected the experience for me. It’s so so close to my heart to this day and I don’t think I’ll ever find anything like it. I’m getting emotional now🥺
@@AlanTalker We did, and we can't ignore the fact that the game can be really clunky with some awkward and cringy dialogue scenes, the expressionless faces on the characters in some cutscenes also seem kinda weird. Having said that, I love this game and have finished it a couple of times already, the atmosphere of Arcadia Bay is one of the best I've ever seen in a game, it really is a great emotional experience but we can't say it's "nearly perfect" or anything.
Totally agree, I was always put off my by my own personal negative opinions towards some of the concluding story points, but as a whole Life is Strange isa beautiful game, that uses atmosphere as a story-telling element in beautiful ways.
Listening to this music reminds me of a better time in my life, back when a lot of people cared for me and my family was still together, we didn't struggle for money and I would be carefree playing Life is Strange in my room along my best friend, everything was just perfect. Nowadays I feel lost, alone and completly useless in anything I do regardless of having dinner with the family that I have left, doing a good job in the university or going out with some friends, I don't know what's wrong with me. Life sometimes kicks you harder than usual and getting up seems impossible.

I was only 7 years old when I first played the game and I replayed it a lot at that age cuz it was one of the few games I had,but I didnt understand the story much but at that time. Now I am 16 years old replaying the game and it hits the right part of my heart
My grandma died. She was my everything, I grew up with her and my grandpa and home was for me wherever they were. I visited her in the hospital every day, the last words I told her were "I love you" and I am thankful I got to hear her say she loved me, too. With each passing day my pain keeps getting bigger and heavier. I come back to this music and everytime I listen to it I feel as if I am still with her, holding her hand. literally the only type of sound i can study to i tried white noise and brow noise and all other type of sounds and i cant focus but this is so effective i can repeat this song like 3 to 4 times in one study session and its as if im in complete silence with no loud noise around me
I remember the first time I ever played this game, i fell in love. The music, the art style and then Max and Chloe. Around the same time I was in a very unstable and uncertain time of my life, it's hard to explain but whenever I hear the soundtrack especially the main menu music. It just leaves a almost bittersweet feeling in my heart, like longing to go back but happy I made it past. This game will forever hold a special place in my heart.

LIS really was something different. Listening to the music makes me feel the exact same feelings when I was rlly into it years ago. It’s like taking a trip to the past and gosh it’s beautiful but heart wrenching at the same time.
The fact that the first note of the menu song can play and instantly I am transported back in time to playing the game for the first time and all the emotions it brought to me. Even with the knowledge I have of it now, years after I've played it in full, I am still reminded of its essence and energy whenever the music plays. It truly is something that we should exist at the same time this beautiful game does.
Time runs fast, and it does not give us a chance to reflect on the beautiful things in our lives, but if we step back a little and close our eyes while listening to this music, a strip of beautiful memories will pass before our eyes.

Probably similar to many people here, but I first played this game a few years ago during a very stressful time of my life, when I was slightly depressed and had a flipped sleep schedule and so on, but the moments in this game and especially the music helped me a lot to overcome the sadness that I was experiencing and find a bit more meaning in my everyday life. Hopefully some day we can all find the same kind of happiness that Max and Chloe found in each other :)

I go back here so I can remember how this game made me feel, the summer I started playing it, I was lost in this world, I was lost in Arcadia Bay. Late at night I cried and I laughed because of all the emotions Life is Strange made me go through, this was something completely new for me and I adored every little minute of it. I had never tried any game like this before, so it really showed me a new place where I could let my dreams come alive. It was such a wonderful experience that I even wish I could play it again, but without the knowledge, I have now, I know people won't read this but you are better then what you think. and this game made me realise why. I love Life Is Strange and rn for me its 00:04 and Tue. 18th August. I'm laying upside down on my bed with my feet up nice and cozy on the head board. No blanket, just letting the soft and gentle breeze get me. Listening to this at the same time I could drift of to sleep just thinking about life, sorry for the strange rant but I needed to talk to someone well, kind of get something out there if you'd like. Just hearing the menu music instantly makes me depressed. It's such a beautiful song but the story it says through the music of Max, Chloe and the people of Arcadia Bay really hits me hard just like the last of us's music does. Life is strange 2 has not captured the beauty of this game and the emotional rollercoaster it sends you through the music and narrative. I wish i could experience this game like it was my first time..

I picked up this game in 2017, I think. I’d hadn’t really heard anything about it but I thought it looked interesting. I played the first episode and was hooked. I had to play through the whole game. This game was so amazing. It shook me to my core. I remember staying up late into the night not being able to tear myself away, sitting there, sometimes in tears, at the emotional gravity of this game, awestruck. This game is definitely on my list of top 5 games I’ve ever played, truly beautiful.
Back in 2020, I was having a rough time keeping up with my studies and my mental health was at its worst and nothing helped soothe my nerves better than this video. Music is my medium for distraction, so whenever I would have intrusive thoughts, I’d play this and everything would feel alright. I’m grateful for the uploader as well as the players of the music. Thank you for helping me up to this point :)

I just finished high school, and this playlist has brought back so many memories... Good and bad, all together in a mix of longing. I keep thinking about what could be different, what I could do so that in the end things don't end up weird as they are. Insecurity came back to haunt me. The existence of actions that could be taken that would have a huge bearing on how I feel right now doesn't leave my mind. I'm not sure what's going to happen next year, or if I'm going to carry the same people I met this year, and it scares me cause I haven't told them everything I feel... Quite the contrary, I feel like I got lost in a world of fantasies and simply forgot to say how important everyone was to me.

This game is so amazing. When I first played the demo the music hooked me and I would stay in the hallway listening to the song To All of You on repeat for a good while. The nostalgia I feel when listening to the music makes me feel like this life of mine isn’t real or something.
Why can't I get over this game? This soundtrack? The vibe and the feels take me someplace, and I don't know if that place was ever real to me or just someplace I wanted to be real. But no matter what I always come back to it because I want to remind myself that my soul can feel this way.....and it always does.

Listening to this music reminds me of a better time in my life, back when a lot of people cared for me and my family was still together, we didn't struggle for money and I would be carefree playing Life is Strange in my room along my best friend, everything was just perfect. Nowadays I feel lost, alone and completly useless in anything I do regardless of having dinner with the family that I have left, doing a good job in the university or going out with some friends, I don't know what's wrong with me.

I was only 7 years old when I first played the game and I replayed it a lot at that age cuz it was one of the few games I had,but I didnt understand the story much but at that time.
Now I am 16 years old replaying the game and it hits the right part of my heart

My grandma died. She was my everything, I grew up with her and my grandpa and home was for me wherever they were. I visited her in the hospital every day, the last words I told her were "I love you" and I am thankful I got to hear her say she loved me, too. With each passing day my pain keeps getting bigger and heavier. I come back to this music and everytime I listen to it I feel as if I am still with her, holding her hand. I miss you, grandma, so, so very much. Te iubesc, mamaie.

literally the only type of sound i can study to i tried white noise and brow noise and all other type of sounds and i cant focus but this is so effective i can repeat this song like 3 to 4 times in one study session and its as if im in complete silence with no loud noise around me
I remember the first time I ever played this game, i fell in love. The music, the art style and then Max and Chloe. Around the same time I was in a very unstable and uncertain time of my life, it's hard to explain but whenever I hear the soundtrack especially the main menu music. It just leaves a almost bittersweet feeling in my heart, like longing to go back but happy I made it past. This game will forever hold a special place in my heart.

The fact that the first note of the menu song can play and instantly I am transported back in time to playing the game for the first time and all the emotions it brought to me. Even with the knowledge I have of it now, years after I've played it in full, I am still reminded of its essence and energy whenever the music plays. It truly is something that we should exist at the same time this beautiful game does.
Time runs fast, and it does not give us a chance to reflect on the beautiful things in our lives, but if we step back a little and close our eyes while listening to this music, a strip of beautiful memories will pass before our eyes.

I enjoy this out of all the compilations on youtube because it's purely instrumental.
Probably similar to many people here, but I first played this game a few years ago during a very stressful time of my life, when I was slightly depressed and had a flipped sleep schedule and so on, but the moments in this game and especially the music helped me a lot to overcome the sadness that I was experiencing and find a bit more meaning in my everyday life. Hopefully some day we can all find the same kind of happiness that Max and Chloe found in each other :)

I go back here so I can remember how this game made me feel, the summer I started playing it, I was lost in this world, I was lost in Arcadia Bay.
Late at night I cried and I laughed because of all the emotions Life is Strange made me go through, this was something completely new for me and I adored every little minute of it.
I had never tried any game like this before, so it really showed me a new place where I could let my dreams come alive.
It was such a wonderful experience that I even wish I could play it again, but without the knowledge, I have now, I know people won't read this but you are better then what you think.
and this game made me realise why.

No blanket, just letting the soft and gentle breeze get me. Life is strange was one of the strongest experiences that a game give me in my life.
Every time I hear this it fills me with so many emotions cause I got so attached to this game and the little moments Max and Chloe would spend together and it makes me just want to continue replaying it to no end.
Just hearing the menu music instantly makes me depressed. It's such a beautiful song but the story it says through the music of Max, Chloe and the people of Arcadia Bay really hits me hard just like the last of us's music does. Life is strange 2 has not captured the beauty of this game and the emotional rollercoaster it sends you through the music and narrative. I wish i could experience this game like it was my first time..

I picked up this game in 2017, I think. I’d hadn’t really heard anything about it but I thought it looked interesting. I played the first episode and was hooked. I had to play through the whole game. This game was so amazing. It shook me to my core. I remember staying up late into the night not being able to tear myself away, sitting there, sometimes in tears, at the emotional gravity of this game, awestruck. This game is definitely on my list of top 5 games I’ve ever played, truly beautiful.
