its 12:23am, I just finished pretty much all of my art projects in one night and now I'm in my warm comfy bed listening to this beautiful soundtrack and texting someone i care about. This game is something special, it's hands down the best plot i know and i kinda read russian classics and all that. The imagery is just outside of this world, sometimes it feels like 1000 years old schizophrenic made it: too deep and accurate on some level i don't understand

Life is Strange, despite being a game with many, many flaws, will always be important to me. Seeing past some of the awkward dialogue or odd plot points and you'll find a story, atmosphere, and feeling simply unlike anything I've seen yet. Arcadia Bay is still one of my favorite video game settings, primarily because of the slow, calming mood it envokes despite all that happens in its borders. Part of that is because of how this amazing soundtrack was used to paint a landscape that became a character just as much as Max and Chloe did

Exactly how I feel. I know there’s plenty of places where the game could be better and I see why some people may not like it but it’s never really negatively affected the experience for me. It’s so so close to my heart to this day and I don’t think I’ll ever find anything like it. I’m getting emotional now🥺

@@AlanTalker We did, and we can't ignore the fact that the game can be really clunky with some awkward and cringy dialogue scenes, the expressionless faces on the characters in some cutscenes also seem kinda weird. Having said that, I love this game and have finished it a couple of times already, the atmosphere of Arcadia Bay is one of the best I've ever seen in a game, it really is a great emotional experience but we can't say it's "nearly perfect" or anything.
Totally agree, I was always put off my by my own personal negative opinions towards some of the concluding story points, but as a whole Life is Strange isa beautiful game, that uses atmosphere as a story-telling element in beautiful ways.

I have a friend who reminds me of chloe. Sometimes I just want to live in Arcadia bay, and hang with that friend. We would probably hang at that junkyard and talk about the flaws of our world, and walk along the train tracks and talk about how we wish moments like this would never end. Listening to this music again makes me wanna go there. Have adventures like they did.

My grandma died. She was my everything, I grew up with her and my grandpa and home was for me wherever they were. I visited her in the hospital every day, the last words I told her were "I love you" and I am thankful I got to hear her say she loved me, too. With each passing day my pain keeps getting bigger and heavier. I come back to this music and everytime I listen to it I feel as if I am still with her, holding her hand. Listening to this music reminds me of a better time in my life, back when a lot of people cared for me and my family was still together, we didn't struggle for money and I would be carefree playing Life is Strange in my room along my best friend, everything was just perfect. Nowadays I feel lost, alone and completly useless in anything I do regardless of having dinner with the family that I have left, doing a good job in the university or going out with some friends, I don't know what's wrong with me.
Life sometimes kicks you harder than usual and getting up seems impossible.
I really need a sequel of Max and Chloe

I remember the first time I ever played this game, i fell in love. The music, the art style and then Max and Chloe. Around the same time I was in a very unstable and uncertain time of my life, it's hard to explain but whenever I hear the soundtrack especially the main menu music. It just leaves a almost bittersweet feeling in my heart, like longing to go back but happy I made it past. This game will forever hold a special place in my heart.

when I listened to this, the first time I opened the game, I was hoping for an indie game that would not hit me in the gut and that would not influence my life whatsoever, I have heard that it was good, but I never heard a single thing about the story or the characters and god when I started playing the game, I felt so familiar with the characters, evene when I never heard of them, and I think that's the magic of the game, Max's friends are our friends, we all have that kind of friends in our colleges or high schools, but the character I really loved, was Chloe, man I am 20 and I feel a lot like Chloe, I even do most of the things she does, even before playin the game, and the ending, it was so... touching, it is true, you can never play the game for the first time again, the plot twist, I think the plot twist about the sicko, was one of the most unexpected twists, and it is truly amazing because there were hints and it was THERE all along, you just "never payed attention", because that's how life is, you stop paying attention due to being concentrated in your life and you fail to see the reality of your world, Life is cruel, Life is careless, Life is strange

Just hearing the menu music instantly makes me depressed. It's such a beautiful song but the story it says through the music of Max, Chloe and the people of Arcadia Bay really hits me hard just like the last of us's music does. Life is strange 2 has not captured the beauty of this game and the emotional rollercoaster it sends you through the music and narrative. I wish i could experience this game like it was my first time..

Time runs fast, and it does not give us a chance to reflect on the beautiful things in our lives, but if we step back a little and close our eyes while listening to this music, a strip of beautiful memories will pass before our eyes.

Probably similar to many people here, but I first played this game a few years ago during a very stressful time of my life, when I was slightly depressed and had a flipped sleep schedule and so on, but the moments in this game and especially the music helped me a lot to overcome the sadness that I was experiencing and find a bit more meaning in my everyday life. Hopefully some day we can all find the same kind of happiness that Max and Chloe found in each other :)

The fact that the first note of the menu song can play and instantly I am transported back in time to playing the game for the first time and all the emotions it brought to me. Even with the knowledge I have of it now, years after I've played it in full, I am still reminded of its essence and energy whenever the music plays. It truly is something that we should exist at the same time this beautiful game does.

I’ve been playing this game for 9 years now and all paths lead me back to listening to the LIS soundtrack; nothing else quiets my brain from stress like this does ❤ there is something so comforting about the music in this game
2021 and i'm still thinking about it.
this story was brutal, i was origionally doing the series thinking "oh this will be a Beautiful game" i liked the artwork, and the characters seemed nice, but when i saw everythiing chloe fought through i was like damn. i played the Prequel dlc first, then i went to the actual game. when i found that she lost eveything More than once i was like damn...
May I ask, why did you play the prequel before the first one (at least by date of release)? o:
Charlotte Lazuli I chose to do it by timeline so chloe is like 14? Or 15 in BTS and the William price accident is fresh in her mind. Not to mention it’s better to comprehend bc in the first game you hear about this legend named Rachel but never fully meet her. And you hear about how mad abandon chloe and all this and all that but you never truly see what chloe has to go through until you see everything she did between the years of William and The first game

Charlotte Lazuli when I played bts I had just gotten out of drama with a crush and all so the whole beauty with Chloe and Rachel hit me hard. I had a bigger connection with them. And it was so beautiful seeing them get together and her finally be happy after everything
@@NovaXGamingtm I see, that must've been a touching experience for you ♡ I prefer LIS, as at the time I had a best friend who was very reckles and she did things I had to try and save her from, but ultimately as the friendship was ending I started playing LIS, and by letting Chloe die I was also able to let go of my friend.

I go back here so I can remember how this game made me feel, the summer I started playing it, I was lost in this world, I was lost in Arcadia Bay.
Late at night I cried and I laughed because of all the emotions Life is Strange made me go through, this was something completely new for me and I adored every little minute of it.
I had never tried any game like this before, so it really showed me a new place where I could let my dreams come alive.
It was such a wonderful experience that I even wish I could play it again, but without the knowledge, I have now, I know people won't read this but you are better then what you think.
and this game made me realise why.

My girlfriend introduced me to life is strange because she loved it, we were long distance and we watched let's plays on youtube together, she loved seeing my reactions to everything that happened and she was always so excited when we talked. Last night she broke up with me because of the distance but hoping we can still have a future together, when we can manage to see each other more. I'm just hoping she doesn't fall in love with someone else before then, she changed my life

I picked up this game in 2017, I think. I’d hadn’t really heard anything about it but I thought it looked interesting. I played the first episode and was hooked. I had to play through the whole game. This game was so amazing. It shook me to my core. I remember staying up late into the night not being able to tear myself away, sitting there, sometimes in tears, at the emotional gravity of this game, awestruck. This game is definitely on my list of top 5 games I’ve ever played, truly beautiful.
i really loved the golden hour scenes from arcadia bayy like if i were living there i would always go to that lighthouse at eve with friend like chloe,max,rachel if chloe doesnt wants to stay in Arcadia then me neither, i go where she goes
