His compositions are awesome. He even made new versions of a lot of his songs, especially for this year's Mars concerts. There is the obvious aspect of speaking out against animal crulty, but it also parallels the bullfighter with the bull - being both heroicly fighting for fame/survivival, but also being bound to animal instinct, being slave to his environment as much as the bull. We don't decide the rules or the game, we only react to our situation and choice between the limited options presented to us. We follow what society dictates. We think of ourselves as individuals with freedom and free thinking, but yet we follow what everyone else does, what we are each conditioned to believe. We only see a few options and imagine one or two outcomes, rather than imagine other paths and outcomes. The bull either fights or die (two possibel outcomes), Same with people, you succeed or fail. We easily get excited and accept things that perhaps we should second guess instead of being carried away by political intrigue and what not - just like people get excited and high cheering for something rather cruel, like a bullfight. People are inclined to mob mentality and are thus not superior to animals. When we are gone, another will take our place - just like the bulls in the arena. Hua is his family's surname name & Cheng is the mother's family surname name. The Chinese use the father's Surname 1st then the name of the child. If you are going to listen to (and watch) "I really want to love this world", you should try finding the live version from his Mars concert in 2019. He explains what the song is about and why he wanted to sing a song about this subject before he sings the song. It will give you a better understanding of what this song represents and how important the song is to him. For reference, he is wearing a white shirt and a black jacket that looks like a black cape. He also has a red stripe of makeup below his left eye in this video. As for "Bullfighting" He said in an interview that the first voice he is singing in is the voice of the bull and it is from the bull's perspective. The second voice is the bullfighter and is from the bullfighter's perspective. The third voice and the part that you thought was really beautiful is his own perspective and if you get the feeling that he did not appreciate the callousness that bullfights seem to treat life, then you understand what he is trying to say.
The 3rd voice ( operatic voice) represents a 3rd party (higher entity) looking from above at the scene of the Bullfight. Because of that these part has no lyrics. What would these higher entity think of us humans by watching this scene? Hua Chenyu explained it at one of his 2023 Mars concerts. Can't remember which one it was 😅. Maybe at one of the Wuhan Mars concerts. Not sure.

In the early live performances he even went so far as to cover his mouth with his hand and he had a female singer lip sync the part. Maybe he felt that a live performance should be all live but there was no way he could have done both the operatic voice and what he was referring to his own voice live since they overlapped. But when he gave the interview I heard he was not admitting that the operatic voice was also him so the third voice he was referring to him singing in is the voice that sings about nurturing the original sin. He said that that voice is him singing from his perspective on what he saw or how he felt about what he was seeing on the day of the bullfight. He did not like what he was seeing and considered it animal cruelty. Bullfights take place in Spain which has very strong religious roots in Catholisim and is why he made a statement while performing this song on The Singer 2020 by ripping a cross on a chain from around his neck (a Catholic symbol) and laying it on the stage and leaving it there. It was his way of showing disapproval of how the church in Spain approves of taking this innocent life.

In 2018 the song Bullfight not exist. He released his 4th album New World in 2020 and he presented his new songs live just before .(in concerts 2019 in tv show and singer 2020)

If you are going to listen to (and watch) "I really want to love this world", you should try finding the live version from his Mars concert in 2019. He explains what the song is about and why he wanted to sing a song about this subject before he sings the song. It will give you a better understanding of what this song represents and how important the song is to him. For reference, he is wearing a white shirt and a black jacket that looks like a black cape. He also has a red stripe of makeup below his left eye in this video. As for "Bullfighting" He said in an interview that the first voice he is singing in is the voice of the bull and it is from the bull's perspective. The second voice is the bullfighter and is from the bullfighter's perspective. The third voice and the part that you thought was really beautiful is his own perspective and if you get the feeling that he did not appreciate the callousness that bullfights seem to treat life, then you understand what he is trying to say.
The 3rd voice ( operatic voice) represents a 3rd party (higher entity) looking from above at the scene of the Bullfight. Because of that these part has no lyrics. What would these higher entity think of us humans by watching this scene? Hua Chenyu explained it at one of his 2023 Mars concerts. Can't remember which one it was 😅. Maybe at one of the Wuhan Mars concerts. Not sure.
@@vijandrav.6095@vijandrav.6095 When Hua Hua first released the song, he did not want anyone to know that the operatic part was pre-recorded. In the early live performances he even went so far as to cover his mouth with his hand and he had a female singer lip sync the part. Maybe he felt that a live performance should be all live but there was no way he could have done both the operatic voice and what he was referring to his own voice live since they overlapped. But when he gave the interview I heard he was not admitting that the operatic voice was also him so the third voice he was referring to him singing in is the voice that sings about nurturing the original sin. He said that that voice is him singing from his perspective on what he saw or how he felt about what he was seeing on the day of the bullfight. He did not like what he was seeing and considered it animal cruelty. Bullfights take place in Spain which has very strong religious roots in Catholisim and is why he made a statement while performing this song on The Singer 2020 by ripping a cross on a chain from around his neck (a Catholic symbol) and laying it on the stage and leaving it there. It was his way of showing disapproval of how the church in Spain approves of taking this innocent life.

I also have seen the interview you are referring to. I love that HuaHua is explaining his works more nowadays. I know he refused to do that in the early days. Now he opens up more and more. In 2018 the song Bullfight not exist. He released his 4th album New World in 2020 and he presented his new songs live just before .(in concerts 2019 in tv show and singer 2020)
