Angelina Jordan always manages to capture the essence of the songs she sings and transmit it with overflowing emotion, she always leaves you in love and amazed by what she can do, even more so in this recording, here she is only 10 years old but she is already absolutely unique. Few people know the original by Baby Fuzz (an adult and established artist) and I think that if one day this song will be known, it will certainly be thanks to this fantastic interpretation by Angelina, (you can't call it a cover, such personal interpretations), so representative of her musical and empathetic background, she has made a truly fantastic version, with superb changes of register and tone. Angelina is indescribable in this song, if you listen to the original, you are completely amazed by the different thickness of the musical rendering. ❤🧡💛
There was a recent video done by a vlogger going to his first Chinese concert and he was amazed. He got a local to get tickets, it just happened to be a Hua Chenyu concert! (so didn't know who it was). It was held at the Bird's Nest stadium in Beijing.
I want to say, his live voice is incredibly penetrating and captivating, which is an experience you just can't get from listening to audio recordings.，Combined with the stunning stage effects and his charismatic stage presence, it's truly a perfect blend. It's a fan favorite and one they would like to see performed and purchased by her team. Basically its an original since her version came out first. Babyfuzz released a crappy version to protect the copyright after the leak.... Neither Babyfuzz or Angelina's team requested the leaked version be taken down. Dimash, Ren and Asaf Avidan are the only three artists I follow on youtube; and, yes, I've heard a lot from the other artists you've reacted to in this video, but haven't sought them out for more. If you want more from Ren where he's singing, to begin with may I suggest the "I Shot the Sheriff" mashup street performance, (the version where he's wearing red suspenders), the "Back on 74" live performance for some jazzy R & B vocals, and Ren and Chinchilla live duet of Ren's original "How to be Me". There are a lot of songs where he sings, but these 3 would make a good trilogy to introduce him to your channel, and to showcase his versatility.

Having been an avid fan of Dimash and Angelina Jordan for a number of years, I am thrilled that you've reacted to Ren now, another huge favourite of mine, and I can't wait for you to drill down further. I wholeheartedly concur with those who have already suggested his originals Chalk Outlines & How To Be Me, both with Chinchilla - a stunning artist in her own right. Of the covers and mash-ups, Back on 74/Message in a Bottle is fabulous, as is his busking with The Big Push (great musicians, all). I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop is a must and makes me want to time-travel back to my youth every single time I hear it. I am so cheered to see young independent artists and musicians pushing through and making their mark on the world via UA-cam and with the help of the reaction community. Goodness knows, so many awful things have emerged with the advent of Social Media and the ease of malign broadcast nowadays, that it's a joy to experience the positive side of our global connectivity in this way. After all, a world in which two very different but equally massive talents such as Dimash and Ren can be accommodated in the same sentence, can't be all bad, can it? Our souls need exposure to great artists like these. Thank you for your part in bringing them to us. You are both awesome. Angelina's family did everything they could to provide her a somewhat "normal" childhood. I believe this recording was not released because it would have exploded her on to the world stage and prevented any semblance of a normal childhood.

I came here to see your reaction to Ren, and you did not disappoint. Yes it is live, and one take. The video is done with a couple of cameras to get both angles - but the singing, one take. Since I found Ren I haven't been able to listen to anything else (well, except Disturbed Sound of Silence for epic vocals). He has a catalogue of a couple of hundred songs if you include the band The Big Push too, plus the 'retakes' he puts out on You Tube. Ren's music touches my soul, feeds my spirit. He is the hope that 'loosens the noose on the rope' for me. I'm not ready to listen to anything other than Ren, not yet. I listen to his music on Spotify on repeat. Maybe one day I'll move on... but he just keeps creating gems, he hasn't missed yet! Poetic lyrics and astounding voice, brilliant musician and guitar/piano player. We don't know why Angelina Jordan's family didn't pursue releasing "I'm Still Holding Out for You". Her wise and loving family have done a great job, allowing her to have her childhood, without the pressures of being a superstar. Even to this day, at age 18, they are not fully promoting her. For me, it makes sense to not release the song, as it had a great chance of becoming a hit. Angelina's childhood was more important.

Thank you for the surprise of you reacting to Ren! Dimash, Ren and Asaf Avidan are the only three artists I follow on youtube; and, yes, I've heard a lot from the other artists you've reacted to in this video, but haven't sought them out for more. If you want more from Ren where he's singing, to begin with may I suggest the "I Shot the Sheriff" mashup street performance, (the version where he's wearing red suspenders), the "Back on 74" live performance for some jazzy R & B vocals, and Ren and Chinchilla live duet of Ren's original "How to be Me". There are a lot of songs where he sings, but these 3 would make a good trilogy to introduce him to your channel, and to showcase his versatility.

Having been an avid fan of Dimash and Angelina Jordan for a number of years, I am thrilled that you've reacted to Ren now, another huge favourite of mine, and I can't wait for you to drill down further. As well as his phenomenal lyricism in rap (and I'm not at all a fan of that genre in general), he has a captivating voice and a number of great songs that showcase it. I wholeheartedly concur with those who have already suggested his originals Chalk Outlines & How To Be Me, both with Chinchilla - a stunning artist in her own right. Of the covers and mash-ups, Back on 74/Message in a Bottle is fabulous, as is his busking with The Big Push (great musicians, all). I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop is a must and makes me want to time-travel back to my youth every single time I hear it.
I am so cheered to see young independent artists and musicians pushing through and making their mark on the world via UA-cam and with the help of the reaction community. Goodness knows, so many awful things have emerged with the advent of Social Media and the ease of malign broadcast nowadays, that it's a joy to experience the positive side of our global connectivity in this way. After all, a world in which two very different but equally massive talents such as Dimash and Ren can be accommodated in the same sentence, can't be all bad, can it? Our souls need exposure to great artists like these. Thank you for your part in bringing them to us. You are both awesome.
BTW, there is much humour (often British in feel) alongside the dark in Ren's work, which reactors sometimes overlook. It was great to see you respond to it so spontaneously in Hi Ren.

Angelina's family did everything they could to provide her a somewhat "normal" childhood. I believe this recording was not released because it would have exploded her on to the world stage and prevented any semblance of a normal childhood.

My Ren list... Chalk Outlines, How to be Me, For Joe are all singing. Ren busking is amazing, with his band The Big Push check out I Shot The Sheriff medley ( tge one where he is wearing red suspenders) and busking with Sam singing Its a Mans World. All of these are examples of rens actuAl singing. Then there is the Trilogy of Jenny/Screech,/Violet ... if we want to get a littlte spicey there is Losing It. which you will.
Chalk Outlines would also have the bonus that they would meet Chinchilla.

Yes it is live, and one take. The video is done with a couple of cameras to get both angles - but the singing, one take.
Since I found Ren I haven't been able to listen to anything else (well, except Disturbed Sound of Silence for epic vocals). He has a catalogue of a couple of hundred songs if you include the band The Big Push too, plus the 'retakes' he puts out on You Tube. Ren's music touches my soul, feeds my spirit. He is the hope that 'loosens the noose on the rope' for me. I'm not ready to listen to anything other than Ren, not yet. I listen to his music on Spotify on repeat. Maybe one day I'll move on... but he just keeps creating gems, he hasn't missed yet! Poetic lyrics and astounding voice, brilliant musician and guitar/piano player. I'm glad you put this up for people. Thanks, I enjoyed seeing you react to his unique genius.

In the Home Free video the baritone/bass, Adam Chance, is doing the jaw harp. The vocal percussionist, Adam Rupp, did the rest.
I'm in the Comments just to make sure this got corrected! Adam Rupp does it all except the jaw/ mouth harp. Chance uses Mongolian throat singing to make the jaw harp sound.

We don't know why Angelina Jordan's family didn't pursue releasing "I'm Still Holding Out for You". Her wise and loving family have done a great job, allowing her to have her childhood, without the pressures of being a superstar. Even to this day, at age 18, they are not fully promoting her. For me, it makes sense to not release the song, as it had a great chance of becoming a hit. Angelina's childhood was more important.
