I truly envy your friend from overseas getting to run on your superb railroad. The throttle technique that you described must be a little challenging at first as you say, but it certainly does add to a level of realism while switching not often seen on other layouts. The sound, especially the squeal of the brakes is what sells the perfect momentum effect. Just outstanding!
Thank you so much for you kind words. I like to see the trains operate in a realistic manner and I think when you take so much time to build detailed models and run them in a realistic environment, its a shame to see them run like slot cars. I really need to complete the basic scenery on the end town named Pitkin. I have an area that has not been completed yet with the basic scenery materials.
I love the C&S 2-6-0! These are some of my favorite locomotives. I also just love the Colorado & Southern equipment. The C&S is my favorite narrow gauge railroad that operated into the 1930s. Even more so than the Rio Grande Southern! Beautiful locomotive models by the way, they're really nicely done. Are they brass? Enjoying from Colorado Rowan
Thank you. Yes, the models are all brass. I am fortunate to have 5 or 6 of them and two RGS locos. All are battery powered with a system called CVP Air Wire. They are super reliable and will run for around 4 hours on a single charge
Sorry for the late replay. Yes, the models are all brass locomotives. I fitted them with Power on Board and painted them. The sound is all Tsunami 2200
Hello Keith. Excellent blend of backdrop to scenery. Would enjoy watching a new video . Enjoy your day. Ray L
