That's really good, although The Cooper Extraction is as good, if not better.
Others include That Girl, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, You're Under Arrest. The final Christmas episode of The Middle known as "The Christmas Miracle." Believe it or not, the first Christmas episode of Bizarrdvark. I've got a list somewhere.
I feel like at least 1 of Home Improvement's Christmas episodes deserves a mention...Tim's annual lighting contest was always fun to watch, but my favorite might be the one where Tim & Al spend most of the episode stuck at an airport only to be hit by low visibility as they fly home until the boys turn on the lighting display they set up in his absence
I was also thinking about the Home Improvement Christmas episodes. I especially enjoyed the ones when they were claymation and the one when Randy came home to visit after he moved out.
Sheldon hugging Penny should’ve been number 1. I laugh hysterically every time I see that.
Say that after seeing "Trigger's Broom".
The Nanny animated episode. Now, deserving of an honorable at least, there’s also “Living Kringle” from Living Single. The repeated attempts at singing “Winter Wonderland” do get annoying, but it’s a very sweet, heartwarming, and funny rumination on the different characters’ values during the holiday season that culminates in LS’s spin on the age-old message about friends, family, and the Christmas spirit. Synclair especially shines in this episode. There’s also the Home Improvement episode that pays homage to the old stop-motion Christmas specials, which is quite sweet for this show.
Don’t forget Everybody Loves Raymond has some Christmas eps, too!
The Toaster was the best one!
Home Improvement for sure were the best. My kids had to watch Mark sing in a choir of 4 with Noel on their robes but they lined up backwards.

And the oldest son wants to go skiing with his friends. Tim tells him, “Christmas isn’t about spending time with people you like, it’s about spending time with your family.”
This list is lacking without the inclusion of Home Improvement.
Any of the Married with Children Christmas episodes are classics in my opinion. With Better Watch Out being my personal favorite.
Ted Lasso’s Christmas episode should have been #1!
The Big Bang Theory had some really great Christmas episodes for sure, but the first one stands as my very favorite! That endearingly awkward hug is such a wonderful moment between Sheldon and Penny!! This marvelous episode really should have ranked much higher!
I haven't finished the list, but the Christmas episode on Schitt's Creek made me cry. Such a great episode.

There are so many good Christmas episodes for sitcoms. I sometimes just watch the Christmas episodes of favorite shows at Christmas. You're correct that "The Office" had great Christmas episodes. You did pick my favorite one, so bravo!
I have a soft spot for "Home Improvement" for my favorite Christmas episode, probably. It's "Twas the Night Before Chaos" from season 4. I love it because it's a bunch of relatives that have ended up in the Taylor household. Jill's parents, Tim's brother & sister-in-law and the twins are there along with Tim, Jill, and their sons. It makes me feel all warm and happy since it reminds me of family Christmases when I was a kid. We would all gather at my grandparents. My grandparents are dead, my mom is dead, and one of my uncles is dead, so I can't relive that, you know?
I also loved "The Middle" and how they did a Christmas episode every year. They were really good at putting in Easter eggs as nods to classic Christmas specials. The easiest one to catch is the fight over King Moonracer as to whether he is a toy or a flying lion. They did do a nod to the Grinch as well as Charlie Brown Christmas. I liked that "The Middle" always did holiday episodes every year. It's a sitcom about a family, and let's face it, holidays are a huge part of a family's year. It made sense to have a new Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas episode every season. The Thanksgiving ones are my favorites though.
"Family Matters" is also near and dear to my heart. They had wonderful Christmas episodes. I love the one from season 6 ("Miracle on Elm Street") where Richie brings home a homeless man (who may or may not be Santa) and Laura's beloved rag doll gets thrown away so Urkel goes through the dump to find her doll. Second favorite is the classic "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Urkel" from season 4 where it's a take on "It's a Wonderful Life" except the angel has Laura be a nerd to see what's like to be Urkel and Steve is the Winslow's son and not Urkely.
Also, how can we forget "The Golden Girls" with "Have Yourself a Very Little Christmas" from season 5 where they're volunteering at a homeless shelter and Stan shows up. They had great Christmas episodes with interesting premises.
"The Wonder Years" episode "A Very Cutlip Christmas" from season 4 is excellent because you see a whole other side to Coach Cutlip.
While not a funny episode, "The Andy Griffith Show" season 1 "Christmas Story" is beautifully done. While "I Love Lucy" is my favorite show ever, their Christmas episode is mostly a clip show (but the new scenes with the tree and Santa are extremely good, so I wish it was a full length episode about preparing for Christmas).
You guys should change this and do different decades. Like 1960s top 10 Christmas episodes, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s. There are so many good ones.
"It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Urkel" is my favorite Christmas episode. Enough said.
My favorite christmas sitcom episode is from the show home improvement twas the blight before christmas because I remember watching this episode where tim completes in a christmas lightning contest.

There are a load of great British sitcom Christmas episodes. OFAH like you said but also episodes from Steptoe and Son, Porridge, Not Going Out and Rising Damp.

I think Benihana Christmas is the best The Office Christmas episode
It's not a sitcom, but there are two episodes of The Twilight Zone, I like to watch around this time of year.
The first is Night of the Meek: It's about a down on his luck mall Santa, who' finds a bag that gives the perfect Christmas presents, and uses it to spread Christmas cheer around the slums he lives in. It sounds cheesy, but it was well executed; and it has a nice pay off at the end.
The second is The Changing of the Guard; my favorite episode of the Twilight Zone overall. It's about an elderly college professor who gets depressed when he finds out he's being forced to retire. Feeling like he wasted life at the college and that his lessons had no impact on his students, he decides to commit suicide; but is stopped when he's visited by the ghosts of his former students, who teach a valuable lesson of self worth.
The 2 mistakes on list 1. Seinfeld NOT in official list, just a mention & 2 Big Bang only #5 The first stand out Big Bang episode
An underappreciated show called Raising Hope consistently had the funniest Christmas episodes.

"Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas" will forever be my favourite Christmas episode of any show. I love the homages to classic Christmas specials, the stop motion animation is brilliantly done, and it puts Abed as the main focus, leading to an Amazing execution overall.
Oh yeah that was a great episode of Community.

My favorite stuff to watch for Christmas is Unaccompanied Minors, Home Alone, Phineas and Ferb Christmas Special, which is my personal favorite, and How The Grinch Stole Christmas 2000.
Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas is fantastic sure, but Regional Holiday Music?? Iconic!!

When it comes to sitcoms my favourite Christmas episode has to be Porridge, the one where the prisoners are singing carols to hide the sound of them digging a tunnel and fletcher has to try and keep the balance between the prisoners and the guards so that Christmas isn't ruined, such a funny episode, the last scene always gets me.
Also the Vicar of dibly episode where she ends up going to several Christmas dinners all in one day.
When it comes to the fresh Prince I love the first Christmas episode where Will decorates the house, that one is the one I watch every year.
I do love that big bang episode, I also like the D&D one as well.
Not a sitcom but still a comedy, I do love the Mr bean Christmas special.
My favorite sitcom Christmas episode, and the one that I watch every Season, is 'Ebenezer Sanford' from 'Sanford And Son', from 1975, where Fred dreams the visits of Christmases Past, Present, and Yet To Come, a la Charles Dickens.

It might not be a sitcom, but Kim possible has the best Christmas episode in my opinion, despite it being a cartoon.
It's certainly a good one. When it comes to Disney cartoons, I'd also go with the American Dragon; Jake Long episode "Hairy Christmas."
As far as Big Bang Theory Christmas episodes, it's "The Cooper Extraction" for me, though I can't dismiss the value of some of the others. There's also the final Christmas episode of "The Middle" known as "The Christmas Miracle," not to mention the second Christmas episode of "That Girl" known as "'Twas the Night Before Christmas, You're Under Arrest."
I don't remember the name of the episode but it was Boy Meets World where Eric befriends the homeless boy at the mall when he's being Santa and brings him home

New Girl was definitely one of my favorites. The Office- too many good ones to pick. But there were at least 4 That 70's Show Christmases, each with a fun premise. HIGHLY disappointed none of those made the list :(

Heroes and Villains (Del and Rodney dress up as Batman and Robin for a fancy dress party turned wake. Also features Trigger's well maintained 20 year old broom which has had 17 new heads and 14 new handles in its time)
Time on our Hands (Del and Rodney finally become millionaires)
The Jolly Boys' Outing (Del and Rodney along with the rest of the regulars at The Nag's Head go to Margate during a bank holiday weekend)

Walker, Texas Ranger and Bones each have several great Christmas episodes.
Yes, yes, Sheldon and Penny, Sheldon and Penny - no one ever talks about the emotional step forward for Penny and Leonard in this episode, the very sweet gifts between them and the reconciliation after their sorta-fight.
Sad not to see Schitt’s Creek “Merry Christmas Johnny Rose” or Ted Lasso “Carol of Bells” not mentioned.

Um, there were Christmas episodes before 1990. All in the Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Bewitched, M*A*S*H, The Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, and Good Times are missing.
