Sanders was a rare Heavyweight back then with the combination of being a southpaw with speed that looked for counters . Plus he wasn't the typical that is known as the slick southpaw he came forward & totally destroyed Klitschko.
They basically wrote Corrie Sanders off when he lost to Hasim Rahman, '' The WBU is probably the best he acheived '' And then suddenly he takes the WBO title from one of the best champions ever. Love it
Sanders was written off due to a not so sturdy chin & suspect stamina but the one thing he had was a massive southpaw left, which he was able to detonate on Klitschko's not so sturdy chin & the rest as they say, history...
@@peterhaye8537 It's crazy to me how everyone says his chin is bad, his fight against Vitali for me suggests otherwise... In my personal opinion, Corrie Sanders just had a bad tendancy of fighting with his hands low + never seems to really have clinched when he was in trouble... this is of course just my opinion
I feel a bit embarrassed, but i'd his name amfew times, but never watched him fight...And he should have been a ' Household name ' in the U.S..Because he waw very useful!
When Corrie hits you, you stay hit.

Corrie Sanders was a heavyweight version of Manny Pac
Upset of the year 2003, those were the days.
I remember watching this. Sanders had some serious power. Klitchko completely altered his style after this. Much more defensive fighter from here on.
AND Also main fact... HE NEVER met this guy or somebody like him ever again... :D

@@peterhaye8537 And yeah, conditioning was definetely doubtable.
11:41...what a beautiful punch. So short and precise.
Sanders had a huge southpaw left.
Sanders had phenomenal hand speed
What a shocker that was to me.
I can hear jim lampley slightly in the background 😆
Sanders on this night would’ve probably beaten any boxer in history.
PUT the Crack Pipe Down
1986 Iron Mike Tyson would have Knocked out both of them in the 1st round.
Grande campione corrie !!! Riposa in pace WARRIOR
Gran sorpresa pero sanders supo buscar los huecos en la defensa de klisklo
Wladimir has this so called glaschin

The infamous ring announcer named the wrong fighter's brother name
What a Fight. 😮😮😮😮😊
