I had the larger stand up version one and had even MORE mods than you had (all included with the dust collector and vacuum underneath) and I swear to hell I could NOT get that damn thing to be consistent with nearly the identical mechanical interface by drawing from the bottom like you did. I had a metering valve, etc. but I digress, I believe showing that you can have consistent suck and blow with those Eastwood components is a game changer. They must have some secret venturi effect that I just could'nt reproduce. It totally pissed me off and even at 90 PSI, I couldn't get the media to flow properly no matter WHAT values I adjusted. To boot, I had TWO dryers on my line too! Wonder if I should've started with the Eastwood diffuser and gun...
i love the metering valve down at the bottom to collect the sand. I have trouble with mine with collection and pickup to the HF gun sometimes. Good Stuff bud!
Some advice for you from someone who had this issue: The drier like you currently have needs to be at least 25' from your air compressor for the air in the line to cool where a dryer/filter will have condensation to work! This 25' run will ensure the heat is taken away from the air and helps to produce the moisture you want to take out of the airline. Some people run transmission coolers and the like which also helps to reduce the heat.
Great thinking man’s video. Just bought mine online and waiting to receive. Figured I’d have to modify but didn’t think I’d be competing. 😃 thanks for all the great ideas
Good Job On Your Set Up There ! I have a wire wheel X 2 on my drill and I have been been grinding on my muffler on my 2012 Ranger Xp 800 after hours off and on for a couple months. You would have had it done in less than a couple hours Nice Nice Now I know where to send my stuff now LOL thanks for that video . Be Safe Out There !
You use to have a UTV 2012 Ranger XP 800 and I think you traded it for A Newer One. If you happen to have any extra parts I May Be Interested In Buying Them .
Hey I have a quick question if anyone wants to help me out. I have a 2002 rancher 350 2wd I want to snorkel. What all would I have to do to it to snorkel it including vent lines crankcase vent if it has one(if it has one where is it) and all of that. Thanks for the help
Hey was wondering what you did for the gromet for the hose at the end of the mixer to the gun. I need to drill this and not sure what to do to keep it from not leaking sand
Great mods, I just picked up the slightly bigger cabinet with legs. I'm fairly impressed by it, although I will be adding led lights like your. Great ideas
Hi - just picked up this same cabinet. Can you provide more details on the metering vale such as parts used, etc? Thanks
You don't happen to have a parts list for your upgrades do you?
best mod is to buy quality, econoline, even used is better than this junk.
Great job. Good video as well.

Thanks just got one I will follow your style😅😊
The only thing I've added is a shacker on the base of it to draw the media lower constantly

I like it I just bought one today and I’m going to hook a vacuum to it like yours because yes it is dusty
How much would cost aprox to modify it to a vapor blast? Could it be used sand and vapor at the same time?
I need my motor done!!!
Great video. Now, I have to have one! I thought for sure it would be a lot messier, and louder
Trying to put one together thanks for all the helpful upgrades and taking time to make this video. THANK YOU
No problem man, glad I could help out.
Your video gave me a gas... That's a good thing😂
