I can hardly breathe. It's 2am, can't sleep, in pain, but I am LOL so hard I can hardly breathe. I have read, listened to and watched this series for over 40 years but occasionally there is still a vignette that I've not heard. The George Bernard Shaw one is a Masterpiece. Absolutely hilarious. How very grateful I am. This is such a gift.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful 🌝
Great storytelling.
The bull story had me howling with laughter...such imagery... brilliant!
I had such a laugh with Tristan. Are there other readers that sat gasping with laughter. Oh how I do appreciate these books and the wonderful reader.
timeless, precious tales beautifully told.I wish we still had vets like this, those days are gone,I fear.I too laughed till i cried over the AI story, mmy husband thought i'd gone mad, couldn't even tell him about it without laughing hysterically. What a gift, what a lovely man.Thank you Christopher, I'm crippled from a stroke and this brought me such joy.
Thank you so much for this series of beautifully written well narrated stories. As an an author this is inspiring. Read his animal series long ago without knowing there were lots more. Narrator is easily understandable compared to this Californian than most other Brits. Narrating my own adventure stories, this shows me how well it can sound. Normally disliking listening to someone reading your recordings show me how wrong one can sometimes be! So thanksalot from a new fan. Appreciate your efforts knowing the work you put into it.
Christopher Timothy is absolutely marvelous in these audio books. His ability to create the perfect voice for each character in the story is inspiring. Once again I hope that he can win some award, or at least accolades, for these performances.
💯 No matter WHAT he's paid, it's not enough. He ABSOLUTELY brings these treasures to life.
Christopher Timothy brings such a great touch, especially since he was James in the T.V. series and so giving us the very voice we are used to hearing. Thank you, Christopher. You do a great job ❤️
It really is like reuniting with a much loved old friend. I can't thank you enough for all four volumes, your hard work is very appreciated and I can't help but feel Alf Wight is looking down and smiling with approval.
Glad you enjoy it!
One more volume coming up, Paul
So relaxing listening to this, you can really imagine these scenes- ty so much 😁
It's great to hear this. I've never read or heard this volume
Another observation is that the music accompanied the text in a marvelous addition to the performances
Doggy must go to Granville, but then poor Herriet must dink 10 gallons of beer again. I get quite stressed out.
James grabbed the bull by his old man. 😆
Fantastic...the boiling water... bloody brilliant!

Too many adverts
Good stories ruined by greed of putting ads in all the time.
Exactly. Takes you right out of the moment.
Nope there are zero ads by paying for ad block. Try it so everyone else including especially those offering their hard WORK to all and sundry , like those bitc- ing publicly, spoiling something great for everyone else who do not deserve or appreciate random ugly ignorant negative criticism. Who needs it?
@@clarkchambers9992Gee considering all the WORK given to everyone for FREE , what a rotten thing to write not only for the gift giver but also to everyone else stuck with reading the nasty tripe who appreciate and enjoy the gift.
The music is really unnecessary and annoying!
