The best advice is to skip enhancing and just buy your gear. Skip the heartbreak and just take your gains the smart way Edit: Also, I feel like not selling items needs a huge caveat. There are certain items I would never recommend selling like Cron stones or blue T9 horse mats, but materials from nodes or gathering are very much something newer players should be selling IF they don't have a plan for it. Silver in a new player's pocket is infinitely more valuable than dead silver in their storage
I disagree with 10 only on the premise that if a new character will keep you playing, with how gear tagging and how many free weapon coupons we get. taking a single day to roll a new 61 to grind and play on will get you far more hours of play than burning out on your main.
I think its okay to gear roulette as long as you are prepared to grind it back to where it was. Hitting the pen is worth if you are willing to get your other gear back too.
tried to play this game several times as all the life skills and the sandbox "look" great , but the game has so many tech issues i have to jump through to even enjoy it. Setting do not save , followed many guides to get it to work and when logging back in have to redo them all, hot bars disappear, and there is so much the games throws at you with items and such I cant even start to enjoy it
The real answer is by sitting around and waiting for events/coupons to hand you loads of 100+ stacks. Then you can tap boss gear and Blackstar to build 200+..
I use one character for grinding, and I use one character for life Skilling. As far as gear goes, I would say grind and buy your gear or at least your accessories. It’s going to be way cheaper than trying to make them yourself.
Would be really nice if you had timestamps, I still watched the whole vid just saying, when its a format like this its really useful to skim over to see what you need and what you already know.
Hi Jon, If you doing each life skill in different characters that mean you need multi life gears for each of them? how you deal with it?i didnt get that part.
The only real thing in this video that I still don't do is having nodes. I'm sitting on 120 spare cp. I had farms at one point (100cp) but I found checking the farms was not really worth my time and it was just really annoying for me to manage them (even with a parked alt) so I'm not really sure what to do with so much cp. I don't really life skill much so getting nodes for materials doesn't really make sense for me when I'm never gonna use the items anyway and they sell for dirt cheap so it's not profitable either.
Watching this had reminded me about the LAME_ness of the crafting RNG BS...it is depressingly bad and the one thing to change to make BDO a better game.
im selling my bs gear for falling gods armor, ive calculated the costs... it will cost me a whooole lot more to max caphras a pen armor, then it would to buy back all my bs gear after buying the falling gods armor, even if i bought it for 80-90 bil id still save about 5-10 bil. when considering enhancing the gods armor. a couple accesories are also worth it, in my case, as i can afford to spend 500$-1000$ on the game every two weeks, so by the time someone buys up my gear, ill already be able to buy it back. And for those fools out there, there is 0 difference in skill between people who spend extra money on the game (usually casino gamblers trying to quit gambling...at casinos) and people who hate spending money, so stop talking trash, especially when im splitting yall cheeks with lower gear scores due to skills and thousands of hours of experience. Like anyone else, I grind my ass off for most of what i have, all my bs armor is made by me, the real issue with spending money is it also takes skill, we often buy pointless stuff like horse outfits, pets, and outfits, character slots, shataku box deals that give you NOTHING. i've spent well over 100,000$ usd on bdo and have nothing to show for it, but looks, props, and like...unlimited artisan memories. I dont recommend spending money unless it gives you something you desperately need that you cant grind for, and ofcourse if you can afford it, some outfit boxes to sell and cron stone deals. Years ago and im talking console, i spent thousands of pearls simply reviving, or skipping breeding time without realizing it. as my whole role in the game was always trainer.
BROKEN "FOLLOW" BUTTON - ONLY SINCE GAME RELEASE ... THANKS BDO FOR MAKING ME MANUALLY FOLLOW MY FRIENDS AROUND - BECAUSE I DRINK LESS BEERS AN HOUR THAT WAY ROFL
Thanks for watching and hope all of you have a fantastic day!

Just going to get the troll comment out of the way. "Mistake one - installing the game."
That was exactly my plan 😂
Bdo is by far the best pvp game of its type. It just has a high skill floor that a lot of people can’t deal with.
With the addition of teleportation the game is gonna be more friendly to people who enjoy to focus on 1 char and don't like alt.
When is that gonna be added?

Great tips, I would add to take a break every so often to not get frustrated or burnt out

Really helpful, thank you!
Could you maybe make a video explaining how to gain stacks of 100+ without the use of Valkyrie or journals?
failing boss gear/blackstars is how you do it, but i'd recommend checking out Biohack on Twitch, he can probably explain it better than I can

I have multiple geared characters so I can leave them in diff grind spots
It's nice if you wanna keep alts parked at bosses, but generally you don't wanna spread out your gear score that way.
I use one character for grinding, and I use one character for life Skilling.

Awesome guideline with good awarness of pos and cons.
THANKSSSS FOR THISS I APRECIATE IT

Well normally you would have manos (or equivalent) clothes for each of the lifeskills, but the only thing you pass around is the jewelry

No one is doing amity games in 2023, you just gift the NPC and done.
