    Can't imagine that forms often! never managed to climb ice in the Coe, always scrapping up the mixed routes.

    Nice video lads. I climbed the 2nd ascent of this route, the day after the first in 1978. Glad to see its still getting traffic. Did you climb to the ridge? There is a hard pitch high up. All the best.

    Nice video only thought is was the use of the tree as an anchor. Was it the only way you could abseil down. Apart from the fact that trees are not 100% reliable if everyone uses the same tree then they become dead and very unreliable. You are on a mountain where life is hard. Save a life, no save two lives the trees and the next guy who decides mistakenly to use that tree as an anchor point for his protection after it has been damaged to the point where it is no longer a life saver but an accident waiting to happen.
