do you know why i cant calibrate this radio ? My touchscreen dont work propertly and when i go to calibration nothing happends? if i restart will that help me and no delete maps and other?
2015 VW Passat SEL TDI. This nav system is extremely limited for 2015. Painfully slow to boot up and backup camera does not work until already backed up and moving forward. Split screen capabilities are basically absent. Love the TDI and the ride, but extremely disappointed in the NAV package.
I have a 2014 TSI SEL and completely agree with you. The car is fantastic.. but this system is horrid and you actually learn to become patient. Wait until you drive a car that the system works right.. I had a loaner 2016 Jetta and when you clicked the station it immediately came on. Its so exciting.
Omfg... Recently purchased a 510rns on ebay to put into my 2010 TDI Sportwagen... As im watching this video, I notice your coordinates... Wtf!! I live in Branford!

Tsi.. the system is so slow. coming from a 2006 lexus is 350. its painful. love the car love the way it drives and handles.. but this RNS 510 fucking sucks.. its so slow.. when i back up going to work in the am. i now just look over my shoulder and use my mirrors instead of just using the camera like i used to..
I am thinking the same will rather get one without gps RCD510 and get a proffessional gps, these ones retail for 450$ the rcd510 is 130$ thats 300$ just for a GPS

@Jus4fun456 it definitely can be retrofitted in the previous gen models of golf/jetta/passat and almost everything else vw makes
these models rns510 when ever you remove them from the power with out shout them off, do they got locked? how can i get the code?

Juank05 ,no the unit does not have built in Bluetooth. It need the VW adapter, which are in all VW models after 2014.
