Great stuff. I think you nailed the MBA experience at UI. People tend to underestimate how much of a variable they are in their own experiences. I also haven't been as active in the networking end of the MBA pool as I could have been. Resolving myself to stay involved as well!

Prior to enrolling in my online MBA program, I was worried about networking opportunities. Fortunately, my school held many virtual & in-person networking events. Also, me living about 15 minutes from my school helped foster relationships.

Definitely beneficial living near the university! Naturally, online schools are going to get the most reception from people that live locally/regionally as they will have researched nearby options.

Great post! You motivated me to consider UI, which I did back in Fall 2022 so thank you so much for that! I only have 2 courses left after summer, btw. I was worried about networking at first, but I was quick enough to learn that I needed to put effort on my part!
