to be quite honest, i am not gay, neither is my wife (both 57yrs old, married 38yrs soon this Dec 2023) we would sooner have a few drinks on a bender in a chilled out fun gay/lesbian pub (no cutting the atmosphere with a knife as in a few Blackpool pubs waiting for it to kick off).. as everyone is so nice and friendly..we dont give a shit about peeps sexual orientation..life is for living and have fun!! tbh..only places we would feel comfortable in having a good fun time with peeps in blackpool 😁

Hi Pup 100!! We know a barber who only accepts cash because he doesn't think banks should profit from processing card payments, and we think card payments are far more secure. If you lose cash it's gone, but if you lose your card you can have it stopped and banks are usually good at refunding anything that goes missing 💷🏧💳 Thanks for your comment xx

Hi Andrew. Thank you so much! Our favourite bars are Mardi Gras and Man Bar, the atmosphere is always warm and friendly and the drinks are super-cheap ... especially in Man Bar. We just posted a review of the Spring show at Funny Girls and we 100% agree with you about the drink prices in The Flying Handbag.

At loooooooooooong last, 2 dolly northern chaps, of a certain age (similar to me), trolling round the bijoux guest latties of Blackpool. Bona. So much of the folk telling us about Blackpool almost choke when mentioning the gay 'scene'. Only Colin (Building Blackpool Better) treats all Blackpool life equally. Others to look out for are Jane (Visit Fylde Coast and her Tuesday live show Brew @ 2) and Steve (A walk on the wild side).
I remember the original Mardi Gras, where Sapphires is now. They would have 2 strippers on a Saturday and 2 on a Sunday, was a great night out. I have not been to Blackpool since Sep 2019. I think the only bar that had a stripper was The Flying Handbag, on a Sunday night. x
