Well, OK, I replaced these doors at some point, and honestly, replacing that hinge with the door "on" the car is (officialy) a no go. Of course it can be done, as you proved, but it's way easier to remove it alltogether, and work on the hinge. Additionaly, if the frame is OK, there shouldn't realy be any difference in the positioning of the door, so no washers needed. Since the lower hinge was in the correct position, you only needed to adjust the upper hinge to get the proper contact. I don't understand why you needed washers in both hinges. And also, citroen recomends that you remove the wheel liner, in order to gain access to the hinge, and adjust it....pffff. Made in France. 😂😂😂
