In this video Bob demonstrates how to setup and use a Cyclone 4826 Sandblaster. Many of the techniques will apply to smaller sandblast cabinets as well.
I just found this video, and after 7 years from the first time it was posted, I want to say, "Thank you!" I don't have any sandblasting experience and didn't know anything about how the equipment worked, but you made so much less intimidating! You are an excellent instructor! I feel like I could try this now!
Great video. Thanks. Can you elaborate a bit about grit options? What mediums are available? You were using silicon carbide grit. How is the grit size graded? What are the reasons you use 1 grit from another? Perhaps you already have a video on this subject. I'm in a huge learning curve and UA-cam is one of my best resources. Once again, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you, this was very informative. I could use this to drill holes in microscope slides. Does the process introduce microcracks into the glass from the strong impact of the abrasive? How resistant is the final product e.g. to wash-dry cycles, or wet-freeze?
Great video. May I ask, all I need after I get this unit is a compressor right? Also, I'm working with 110v what size compressor would you recommend since its siphon based? Thanks
Followed your set up video i bought a 3624 cyclone ...however when i started to blast I'm not getting the results i want the media may be wrong that i bought ..what would you suggest for removing rust and paint from metal parts
Hello my friend! I am impressed with this camera for sandblasting, made just superb. I want to ask you to share your experience, you can throw off the scheme of this sandblast camera with the dimensions, I will be very grateful for your help! thank you friend!

May sound a stupid question but I thought the whole point of the unit was so you didn't need a face mask as the dust would be sucked out
Откидывающийся корпус конечно удобно но при этом камеру не поставишь к стене ... это минус.
Why a respirator? The cabinet, it is not intended to keep the dust inside.
