New CSX vs Shield Plus Part II: Range Battle
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 лют 2022
- The second of two videos focusing on the differences between the CSX and Shield plus from Smith and Wesson. Both guns were released in 2021, the shield plus is a striker fire polymer framed gun, while the CSX is S&W's latest offering and is a single action all metal micro compact. Both are great guns, but which is better? In the first video, I compare them both via table top review. This time I take the CSX and Shield Plus out to the range and run them side by side to determine which is best.

Shield Plus for me. 🤠👮🏻♂️🇺🇸👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. B9USA Sr.
Shut up freemason.
@@killilluminati40 What is this all about?
I replaced my Shield Plus with the CSX...and I definitely like it better. It's a little lighter and more compact and it just feels better in hand to me.
Great video I like this format of videos range battles, different camera angles and how he talks about guns as he going, great content man hope more like this!!! It’s pretty cool like your at range with him the way he films these
Great video love it !!
Thanks romagman!
The First LIKE of the video🤙🏻 part 1 was awesome!!
Thanks for the support Burna43!
Great review and good comparison drills for these 2 compacts. New sub.
Thanks Dan, welcome to the channel!
Just got my CSX couple weeks ago love it
Excellent review. Really shed some light on the CSX. Thanks.
Thanks Paul.
@@shootersresourcechannel642 I would like to see you review the Bersa BP9CC. I have heard great things about this single stack 9mm, especially from Sootch00 and HIckok45. Thanks
Maybe I’ll check one out if I can find one for a good deal, take care Paul.
@@shootersresourcechannel642 Thanks much. Just subscribed.
underrated channel here
Thanks Jeremy!
Would like to see Csx vs 365 and maybe ruger max or hellcat
Like this style comparison.
Thanks Bryan, it’s how I prefer to compare two firearms, table top side by side spec and aesthetic comparison (part 1), basic drill side by side comparison (part two).
@@shootersresourcechannel642 shows how much ease of manipulation plays in. 43x gets much more of my time over 365 for that reason. The shield plus and the csx both look nice. Look forward to seeing future vids.
I’m between both these pistols right now during the rebate. You run the csx really well, I’ve heard a lot of stuff on UA-cam about the triggers fake reset. Have you noticed it? If so did you have to train through it? I also thought these two were almost identical in size but you say the csx is a bit smaller. Something that might draw me towards it for pocket carry in summer months. Would you recommend one or the other? Thanks in advance, great video!
Thanks for stopping by Nick. The CSX is a little smaller, it shoots pretty good even though the trigger reset is a little weird. If I had to pick one, the Shield plus would be it. It has a better trigger, simple action, and fits my hand better which is partially due to size and mostly due to ergonomics. It’s still a small package, especially with the 10rd, though a little big for pocket carry. Hope this helps, take care.
Really enjoy your content. I have the Shadow Systems MR920, had many Caniks, and ordered the Staccato C2. My question is: What is your primary EDC? My plan is to practice the manual of arms and carry the C2.
I rotate a lot the guns from this channel, but mainly the Shield Plus, CZ P01, and Glock 19M. The C2 is an awesome carry option that I’ve carried often as well.
That Is damn good specially on cold drawl
Hi, may i know your bulit and height?
Off topic… but what trim F150 is that? Looks awesome
Thanks, it’s mostly aftermarket. Raptor style grill, etc.
Why I’m I just now finding this channel? UA-cam got get better at putting gun channels algorithm
Any issues with the ten rounds magazines?
Yea, I can only get nine in at the moment. I have heard that it’s a follower/spring fitment issue that can be corrected by disassembling the mag but I haven’t had the chance to validate that at this time.
What type of holster did you use?
I used my shield plus w/trl6 holster for both. Not a great fit for the csx, but it’s all I have at the moment. Holster: amzn.to/3rAJh8Q
I have the shield plus, but wanting to trade to CSX. Because my only other gun is a hammer fired HK. Wanting to stay with same platform of hammer fired guns.
You can’t go wrong with either. Im a big HK and hammer gun fan. Thanks for stopping by Gordon.
I just did that exact thing..and I'm really happy I did. It's more compact with a shorter trigger and a real safety as opposed to that joke of a safety on the Shield Plus TS!
Not a fan of either! I’m not buying a gun that I have to fix, new! Not buying a gun I can’t rack. I sold my Shield because it was a PAIN to rack. Not a Smith fan.
Your loss. The CSX is really easy to rack and the build quality rivals my FNS. There's nothing to fix. Crisp 5.12 pound trigger. Smaller and lighter than my old Shield Plus. You're definitely missing out
Maybe you should work out or buy a revolver!
get a MP 2.0 compact....
15 rounds...about the same size
I am hoping they are going to come out with the 3.0 and get rid of the hinged trigger similar to their 10mm that came out.
@@shootersresourcechannel642 They've been out for a couple months: ua-cam.com/video/UbVrRjnFBHc/v-deo.html
@@shootersresourcechannel642 their out
@@paulh6101 thanks, I’ve been seeing them. I’m working on a bolt action build right now and the compact MP 2.0 Flat trigger may be my next move after that.
@@shootersresourcechannel642 I currently own one...the trigger gives the pistol an overall different feel. Doesn't feel like your trigger finger is pulling back into your palm as much anymore because of new trigger body. Very efficient pistol.
