If we believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and believe He died for our sins and that we have confessed our sins and asked for His forgiveness, we will be in Heaven. I'm not a scriptologist but when my dog died and the vet sent a card that said, "Job 12:10, into his hands go the breath of every living creature". That gives me hope that because their was a love bond between us and our pets, and God is love, that we will have our pets in Heaven.

Actually your animals will NOT go to heaven, they will return to dust. In heaven we will have pets, but these pets are the ones we can only dream of having, lions, tigers all the beautiful animals we cannot have here and then some we don't realize. We will have hobbies and eat from our own garden. Dispensationalism is the key, to put the right scripture in the right place at the right time to applied to the right person. Just be aware that at the time of creation, GOD hallowed the SEVENTH DAY and made it holy. The seventh day of the week, according to scriptures, is SATURDAY. The catholic movement and the Egyptians changed the sabbath day. We are to keep the scriptable sabbath, as the holy day of rest. Our LORD never changed his day of rest. A lot of the churches in our day and age are deceiving multitudes of people. JESUS warned us, LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU. If it isn't backed up by the scriptures then it is to be discarded.

My Grandmother suffered from a brain tumour for many years before she died, she wasn't a church goer but she watched christian programs. Two years before her death, I would have this dream of being in her home and she would be there but in my dream she had died and I would wake up crying. One night around two years after she had actually died, she appeared to me in a dream. She was no longer suffering, she had a light glowing all around her face, the expression on her face was peaceful and all she said was, "Don't worry, I love you."
There's more to dreams than meets the eye. Their are many documented examples of people 'seeing' events taking place hundreds of miles away - while they were dreaming. While it is possible seeing a grandmother surrounded by glowing light is a case of wishful thinking. .it is also possible it could be one of those paranormal supernatural dreams.
God will take away our regrets from our current life, because we will be with Jesus and we will have new lives to explore and have joy in, what we do in this life yes matters but we wont have any regrets, we will have new perspective.

What you don't understand is that the ability to be bored is one we will not have in Heaven. Everything will be new, forever. We will have rest when we need it, peace when we need it, and excitement when we want it. It will not ever be boring.

The tears that will be wiped out also relate to the suffering that everyone experiences here on Earth. Death, pain, deprivation, misunderstanding, disease, lack, isolation. Perhaps it is an oversimplification to assume that just one aspect, such as missed opportunity, is involved. God loves all of us, and while suffering is a component of development, He recognizes that relief from this and personal fulfillment for each saved individual is also essential in His grand plan.

I'm looking forward to having a more fulfilling and satisfying relationship with my family in Heaven. I rarely ever see them anymore at least beyond my brother and parents, and even less with my friends since I was a young boy. I think most of us end up seeing friends and certain relatives less and less as we get older, due to many things, but in Heaven we wont have any distractions, it will be very appealing and enjoyable to be with all of your family and whats even more amazing is that it wont just be your blood relatives or steps that you call family in Heaven...Everyone will be your family. We will all be be in Christ family. We gain a great great great deal by accepting Jesus Christ as our savior.

If our tears will be tears of us missing our loved one therefore we would be only partially happy. The memories that will be cleansed are the ones that involve sin, pain, and sadness. Revelation 21:4 declares, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
I was a preacher's kid, loved it, never knew a moment I didn't love and believe in Jesus, had the "normal" salvation moment at Vacation Bible School at about 7, and just turned 61 today, and love Jesus more than ever! BUT....I have a serious question! Since I got saved at such a young age, ALL of my screw ups were AFTER I got saved! It would take a book to tell you all of the trials I have gone through, how I won a lot of victories, but how I was a perpetual failure at so many other things, like multiple abusive marriages. In the movie "Little Women" Jo says, "I'm hopelessly flawed." I FEEL like I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jesus! I FEEL like He loves me! But I'm still not perfect. I'm not sure if some situations in my life, at this point, after they've been messed up so bad, are right or wrong. Most of the things Jesus Himself told us to do was to treat people kind in every way, and things like if we give a drink of water to someone who needs it, we won't lose our reward. I am naturally kind to my own demise, words said by my brother. I think it is because I have the Spirit of the Lord within. But if perfection, and absolutely no sin, and being sure of everything is the sign of Christianity, then I'm doomed. If there are reasons I would someday go to hell, I will still go to my grave absolutely knowing that Jesus Christ is real, and loving Him with ALL of my heart. But if you tell me, ask forgiveness today, start fresh, and don't sin anymore. I don't have a ton of money to go out and start a whole new life. I'm living in the one that was messed up by others and myself, and I'm trying my best every day. I think many people, especially other women, possibly have the same questions. I hope you can sense my desperation for some finality to an imperfect life, sins after salvation, "once saved always saved," and just being an EPIC failure, feeling like I overcame this and that, but possibly not having overcome every sin or stain....not sure where that leaves me. My favorite song is "Beyond the Gates" by Jack Toney, because if I could just make it into Heaven, I would be SOOO happy, because there would be no more sin! I DON'T WANT TO SIN OR HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING OUT OF GOD'S WILL, but sin....yours or someone elses often leaves you in situations where you just don't know! Please reply.
Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Jesus is coming back again just like he said he would. Draw near to God while he is near. Confess your sins before God and in Jesus name he will forgive you of all your sins with a repentant heart. You see, Jesus examines the heart and he will endow you with his holy spirit which will lead you into his truths and guidance for your life. Jesus died on the cross with the shedding of his sinless blood as payment of all our sins. Jesus saved our souls from a life of sin leading us all to eternal death and hell. Jesus loves us all and he doesn't want mankind to be eternally separated from his love and that of our Heavenly Father. Hell was not created for mankind but for Satan and 1/3 of his fallen angels. But, hell has enlarged itself because of mankind repeated disobedience and rebelliousness to him and his holy bible. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, body, mind and might. And Jesus as our faithful shephard will lead and guide us to Heaven. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good and his truth and mercy endureth forever, Amen. If you have excepted Jesus Christ into your heart, heaven will be your home and welcome to the Holy family of God!!!
Once saved you are sealed by the Holy Spirit...you couldn’t unsaved yourself if you tried. You are in the body of Christ. He takes your sins and throws them to the bottom of the deepest ocean and never looks for them again
It has been so refreshing listening to this program as I felt and know that the Holy Spirit is with us all as we sat together and heard the true words of God here. I felt a true peace from within while listening to Dr Lutzer and Ankerberg share the Word with us and I know that they are great men of God and feel sure of the Good News they are sharing with us is true. It was especially refreshing to hear Dr. Lutzer share God's Word as the Holy Spirit bears witness to my soul that all he says is true and I can see the face of God in him as he and Dr. Ankerberg share with us. Keep up the manificiant work both of you and may God Bless both of you. I know one day we will meet in Heaven and I will rejoice having heard the Word while on the old earth and be able to live it in the new earth as we all rejoice together.

I have the inside on Heaven and Hell, for example; in heaven you are united with a person you love greatly but in hell you become in folded with an experience that you thought nobody knew about and that object ruined your life but you built your experience around it everyday. In heaven you are one with a beautiful person you could not even date in your dreams but in hell you are stuck with the experience that is in folded in your physical body for ever. In this God is just and loving giving you the absolute experience for ever that you have chosen. This is the reason EBEs can't interfere with the human experience we get to choose our future . Christ showed me that the bodies in those graves are spiritually alive and waiting on His second coming to take us away . . . it surprises me they didn't think that this was His second coming but they seem to know this was just a visit and I was shaking their hands and Christ was just watching. The important thing is these people are thought to be dead but are in fact patiently waiting on Christ's return.
I find a lot preaching on Heaven to be incredibly shallow. To spend your time discussing how big it is or how many people could fit in it or golden streets etc misses the big picture. You will be in God's presence you will be able to see Him I assume we will be able to communicate with Him. I expect what we will feel is complete AWE and wonder and it will never get old each moment better than the last. This is what I look forward to.

You are not staying with the subject here. All the talk about heaven is really good but not enough time spent on the "first hour in glory". How soon after death will you be there? What will you do the first hour? I believe the second you die you are there if you are a believer.

(1Tim 6:16) How could your ancestors, or anyone else, possibly be with Him now? All men must wait for His return, at which time he will "receive" them unto Himself through the promised resurrection of the dead. God forbid, these people have indulged in a false wisdom that came into the world through Greek Mythology, and will lead you into even more misinformation for a gift of only $49. They will expound about the inherent immortality of man, and whereas the scriptures NEVER mention an "immortal soul," "eternal soul," "spiritual death," or "rapture," they will teach you all about this unscriptural fantasy that has been passed on since the days of Plato and adopted by "the church." They clearly don't really know Him, and there is even a chance that He will one day say He never knew them. The wages of sin is death, and Christ died, quite realistically, to pay our wage, and then rose back into life as the "first fruit" to be "made alive" again, as a proof it could be done and the promise is valid. If He were to pay the penalty of sin that these men say a human sinner must, then Christ MUST remain in their eternal and tormenting hellfire, separated from God the Father, for all time to come....or the scripture itself demonstrates some painfully faulty logic. There is the hope of "everlasting life," but no mention of any eternal or everlasting death. (Which would be eternal life in misery.) "He that is dead is freed from sin," as Paul wrote in Rom 6:7, so do yourself a favor and read without these false prophets, and may God bless.
The announcer says that none of us will escape death. That is not entirely true. Those who are truely saved and are still alive at the Rapture of the Church will be instantly transfigured into our glorified heavenly bodies, and will not see death!!!!!!!!!
He's probably just referring to the Norm.....Must of us will go through Death...which actually means to SEPARATE....our soul separating from our body....
I remember Ernest Angley in the late 60's and 70's when I was a kid and watched him on TV, it seemed like the rapture was coming soon then, but haven't seen it yet. I understand no one knows the date or time, but it seems like people like to give a prediction even though they should know better. I don't get it. When or if it happens, it happens or not. But I think it is about scaring people to be prepared before it is too late, so stating that rapture should happen very soon or giving a date and time motivates even though it is wrong. Fear motivates.
Michael Labrise: I think I understand you're concerned that some ministers use the second Advent of Christ as a billy club over people's heads. They do so to get more people in their churches so they can get in their pocketbooks. I'm not saying that is ALWAYS the motivation but as you and I know that the possibility does exist. I am also sure that some Christians in the first century probably believed that Jesus was returning in their lifetime but I don't know and I cannot prove it. I do know that there are some prophecies given to us in the Old Testament about the Advent of the Messiah. They states that prior to his return certain prophecies must be fulfilled. As you know Jerusalem was totally destroyed by the Romans and AD 70. Those who were not killed or taken into slavery were scattered all over the world. The Book of Ezekiel and certain of the Minor Prophets state that they will return in the last days. They will return back to their homeland and worship again. That did not happen until May of 1948 when the Nations that came out of World War II officially recognized the sovereignty of the Jewish state. Since of that time Jews have been returning to Israel and calling it their home. For thousands of years a jew did not have Israel to call home.They called home whatever land they were in. They long for the days of living back in Israel and their home land. Back in the 1860s there was a large influx of jewish immigrants back in Israel. However the land of Israel also consisted of Arab Muslims, British and French subjects. It was not a sovereign Jewish state as it was prior to the Romans destroying it. The next major prophecy concerning Israel and the end of days will be when Israel returns to the sacrificial system. That would be very interesting because in order for them to return to the sacrificial system as they had it in the Old Testament they must sacrifice in Solomon's Temple. The problem here is that the Dome of the Rock now sits on what is left of Solomon's Temple ( The Wailing Wall).
So it will not happen anytime soon, if ever, but we all will be hammered constantly by the End of World Christian "prophets," like an Angley or one of these UA-cam evangelists no-it-alls until that time, which could mean forever. Beliefs can be good to keep you on the straight and narrow, but can also be taken too far and can be destructive. I wish we could all get past this and be more understanding of people and what they believe or not believe. But some think it is a race to the End and whoever believes is going to heaven. The others non-believers who chose to think differently will be left to die and burn. Doesn't seem like a nice sentiment or a rather evolve way of thinking.

I think the reason there are tears in heaven is because people will look back and see what god perfect will would have been in our lives and it would have been so much better than what We had because We didn't know how to obey His voice.
I’ve heard countless different versions about death and life after it and they all think there right and the others are wrong. The bible is wrote in deep secretes , riddles dark sayings. I say to just leave it up to GOD and trust in him. GOD knows how hard it is for humans to live in our flesh bodies , he knows the mistakes we make , he knows why we get things wrong and go astray , he knows the pain we suffer and what it does to us

I'm not a scriptologist but when my dog died and the vet sent a card that said, "Job 12:10, into his hands go the breath of every living creature". That gives me hope that because their was a love bond between us and our pets, and God is love, that we will have our pets in Heaven.

Salvation is not just a singular confession of Christ. Salvation is also a repentant life which is a way of life. The process of constantly overcoming sin by constantly repenting is just as important as confessing Jesus as the Christ.

My Grandmother suffered from a brain tumour for many years before she died, she wasn't a church goer but she watched christian programs. Two years before her death, I would have this dream of being in her home and she would be there but in my dream she had died and I would wake up crying. One night around two years after she had actually died, she appeared to me in a dream. She was no longer suffering, she had a light glowing all around her face, the expression on her face was peaceful and all she said was, "Don't worry, I love you."

The tears that will be wiped out also relate to the suffering that everyone experiences here on Earth. Death, pain, deprivation, misunderstanding, disease, lack, isolation. Perhaps it is an oversimplification to assume that just one aspect, such as missed opportunity, is involved. God loves all of us, and while suffering is a component of development, He recognizes that relief from this and personal fulfillment for each saved individual is also essential in His grand plan.

I'm looking forward to having a more fulfilling and satisfying relationship with my family in Heaven. I rarely ever see them anymore at least beyond my brother and parents, and even less with my friends since I was a young boy. I think most of us end up seeing friends and certain relatives less and less as we get older, due to many things, but in Heaven we wont have any distractions, it will be very appealing and enjoyable to be with all of your family and whats even more amazing is that it wont just be your blood relatives or steps that you call family in Heaven...Everyone will be your family. We will all be be in Christ family. We gain a great great great deal by accepting Jesus Christ as our savior.

could it possibly be the tears in heaven would be tears of joy rather than tears of us missing our loved one. If our tears will be tears of us missing our loved one therefore we would be only partially happy. The memories that will be cleansed are the ones that involve sin, pain, and sadness. Revelation 21:4 declares, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

I was a preacher's kid, loved it, never knew a moment I didn't love and believe in Jesus, had the "normal" salvation moment at Vacation Bible School at about 7, and just turned 61 today, and love Jesus more than ever! BUT....I have a serious question! Since I got saved at such a young age, ALL of my screw ups were AFTER I got saved! It would take a book to tell you all of the trials I have gone through, how I won a lot of victories, but how I was a perpetual failure at so many other things, like multiple abusive marriages. In the movie "Little Women" Jo says, "I'm hopelessly flawed." I FEEL like I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jesus! I FEEL like He loves me! But I'm still not perfect. I'm not sure if some situations in my life,
at this point, after they've been messed up so bad, are right or wrong. Most of the things
Jesus Himself told us to do was to treat people kind in every way, and things like if we give a drink of water to someone who needs it, we won't lose our reward. I am naturally kind to my own demise, words said by my brother. I think it is because I have the Spirit of the Lord within. But if perfection, and absolutely no sin, and being sure of everything is the sign of Christianity, then I'm doomed. If there are reasons I would someday go to hell, I will still go to my grave absolutely knowing that Jesus Christ is real, and loving Him with ALL of my heart. But if you tell me, ask forgiveness today, start fresh, and don't sin anymore. I don't have a ton of money to go out and start a whole new life. I'm living in the one that was messed up by others and myself, and I'm trying my best every day. I think many people, especially other women, possibly have the same questions. I hope you can sense my desperation for some finality to an imperfect life, sins after salvation, "once saved always saved," and just being an EPIC failure, feeling like I overcame this and that, but possibly not having overcome every sin or stain....not sure where that leaves me. My favorite song is "Beyond the Gates" by Jack Toney, because if I could just make it into Heaven, I would be SOOO happy, because there would be no more sin! It was especially refreshing to hear Dr. Lutzer share God's Word as the Holy Spirit bears witness to my soul that all he says is true and I can see the face of God in him as he and Dr. Ankerberg share with us. im blown away to see you on the air , i have only seen the older shows in your younger years . But I have great respect for you . Tell it like it is I know you will !
I have the inside on Heaven and Hell, for example; in heaven you are united with a person you love greatly but in hell you become in folded with an experience that you thought nobody knew about and that object ruined your life but you built your experience around it everyday. In heaven you are one with a beautiful person you could not even date in your dreams but in hell you are stuck with the experience that is in folded in your physical body for ever. In this God is just and loving giving you the absolute experience for ever that you have chosen. This is the reason EBEs can't interfere with the human experience we get to choose our future . Christ showed me that the bodies in those graves are spiritually alive and waiting on His second coming to take us away . . . it surprises me they didn't think that this was His second coming but they seem to know this was just a visit and I was shaking their hands and Christ was just watching. The important thing is these people are thought to be dead but are in fact patiently waiting on Christ's return.

I find a lot preaching on Heaven to be incredibly shallow. To spend your time discussing how big it is or how many people could fit in it or golden streets etc misses the big picture. You will be in God's presence you will be able to see Him I assume we will be able to communicate with Him. I expect what we will feel is complete AWE and wonder and it will never get old each moment better than the last. This is what I look forward to.

In heaven we will help and serve each other enjoy the technology and things never seen on earth....every minute the environment will change the odor and scents will be different not one day will be the same.The worship will be awesome instruments never seen before on earth notes and vocals never heard....it will be a glorious place..Ow God have mercy on me that my name will be written in your book of life and grant me grace to enter into your kingdom and all my brothers and sister's all over the world....

You are not staying with the subject here. All the talk about heaven is really good but not enough time spent on the "first hour in glory". How soon after death will you be there? What will you do the first hour? I believe the second you die you are there if you are a believer.

All men must wait for His return, at which time he will "receive" them unto Himself through the promised resurrection of the dead. God forbid, these people have indulged in a false wisdom that came into the world through Greek Mythology, and will lead you into even more misinformation for a gift of only $49. They will expound about the inherent immortality of man, and whereas the scriptures NEVER mention an "immortal soul," "eternal soul," "spiritual death," or "rapture," they will teach you all about this unscriptural fantasy that has been passed on since the days of Plato and adopted by "the church." They clearly don't really know Him, and there is even a chance that He will one day say He never knew them. The wages of sin is death, and Christ died, quite realistically, to pay our wage, and then rose back into life as the "first fruit" to be "made alive" again, as a proof it could be done and the promise is valid. If He were to pay the penalty of sin that these men say a human sinner must, then Christ MUST remain in their eternal and tormenting hellfire, separated from God the Father, for all time to come....or the scripture itself demonstrates some painfully faulty logic. There is the hope of "everlasting life," but no mention of any eternal or everlasting death. (Which would be eternal life in misery.) "He that is dead is freed from sin," as Paul wrote in Rom 6:7, so do yourself a favor and read without these false prophets, and may God bless.

The announcer says that none of us will escape death. That is not entirely true. Those who are truely saved and are still alive at the Rapture of the Church will be instantly transfigured into our glorified heavenly bodies, and will not see death!!!!!!!!!

I remember Ernest Angley in the late 60's and 70's when I was a kid and watched him on TV, it seemed like the rapture was coming soon then, but haven't seen it yet. I understand no one knows the date or time, but it seems like people like to give a prediction even though they should know better. I don't get it. When or if it happens, it happens or not. But I think it is about scaring people to be prepared before it is too late, so stating that rapture should happen very soon or giving a date and time motivates even though it is wrong. Fear motivates.
Michael Labrise: I think I understand you're concerned that some ministers use the second Advent of Christ as a billy club over people's heads. They do so to get more people in their churches so they can get in their pocketbooks. I'm not saying that is ALWAYS the motivation but as you and I know that the possibility does exist.
I am also sure that some Christians in the first century probably believed that Jesus was returning in their lifetime but I don't know and I cannot prove it. I do know that there are some prophecies given to us in the Old Testament about the Advent of the Messiah. They states that prior to his return certain prophecies must be fulfilled.
As you know Jerusalem was totally destroyed by the Romans and AD 70. Those who were not killed or taken into slavery were scattered all over the world. The Book of Ezekiel and certain of the Minor Prophets state that they will return in the last days. They will return back to their homeland and worship again.
That did not happen until May of 1948 when the Nations that came out of World War II officially recognized the sovereignty of the Jewish state. Since of that time Jews have been returning to Israel and calling it their home. For thousands of years a jew did not have Israel to call home.They called home whatever land they were in. They long for the days of living back in Israel and their home land. Back in the 1860s there was a large influx of jewish immigrants back in Israel. However the land of Israel also consisted of Arab Muslims, British and French subjects. It was not a sovereign Jewish state as it was prior to the Romans destroying it.
The next major prophecy concerning Israel and the end of days will be when Israel returns to the sacrificial system. That would be very interesting because in order for them to return to the sacrificial system as they had it in the Old Testament they must sacrifice in Solomon's Temple. The problem here is that the Dome of the Rock now sits on what is left of Solomon's Temple ( The Wailing Wall).
So it will not happen anytime soon, if ever, but we all will be hammered constantly by the End of World Christian "prophets," like an Angley or one of these UA-cam evangelists no-it-alls until that time, which could mean forever.
Beliefs can be good to keep you on the straight and narrow, but can also be taken too far and can be destructive. I wish we could all get past this and be more understanding of people and what they believe or not believe. But some think it is a race to the End and whoever believes is going to heaven. The others non-believers who chose to think differently will be left to die and burn.

Accept Jesus as Lord TODAY...you may not have tomorrow. I feel fine but my doctor just told me my heart is only beating fast enough to barely sustain life. I will see Jesus fairly soon and look forward to it.

I think the reason there are tears in heaven is because people will look back and see what god perfect will would have been in our lives and it would have been so much better than what We had because We didn't know how to obey His voice.
My first hour would be horrid. Knowing that some of my family and friends would be burning in hell for eternity is not what I call being in heaven!!!.

I’ve heard countless different versions about death and life after it and they all think there right and the others are wrong. The bible is wrote in deep secretes , riddles dark sayings. I say to just leave it up to GOD and trust in him. GOD knows how hard it is for humans to live in our flesh bodies , he knows the mistakes we make , he knows why we get things wrong and go astray , he knows the pain we suffer and what it does to us

Just because u can't see him does not mean he is not real,u can feel his Holy Spirit and his love and he will embrace u with his love and is the best high u could ever dream of and no side affects,no hangover no drugs over dose pure,holy healing,love over flowing and knowing that he will always be with u and he will never leave along and u don't have to have money.When everyone else leaves u Jesus never will I will be with him for eternity now that's better than than anything u could dream of..
