Just for fun, I pulled up LinkedIn for Joe and Alex. On Joe's page, #5 in the list of "People Also Viewed" is Jurgen Klopp! I thought that was impressive, but #7 on Alex's list is Roman Abramovich!!! Which begs the more important question - why on earth does Roman Abramovich need a LinkedIn profile???
Probably mainly for the people that work for him, so when they say 'I was Mr Abramovich's assistant' or whatever, and you're like no I don't believe you, they can point to their LinkedIn profile. Or it's just a flex. Like using the 'Dr' title in the drop-down menu when filling out a form to switch utility supplier. Pretty sure being a doctor brings no advantages in terms of your electricity tariff; people just like to show off.
I grew up a few blocks away from the Defensor seat and stadium, it's a cozy neighborhood club. I'm glad their work is being recognized. That being said, aguante el Bolso.
Thanks lads, I now know which club to invest all my millions I laundered out of China through the Macau casinos that I also learned on youtube after being taught how to invest by another youtuber. Such a useful place
I love sebb but Joe and Alex's chemistry is great, always hilarious listening to Joe try and wind Alex up at the start. Cant work out if they secretly hate or love eachother?
Honestly you could buy Bournemouth, Brighton or Burnley and as long as they don't get relegated guarantee to make a profit when you sell them a few years later. The potential support doesn't matter, it's being in a league with huge media exposure that counts.
@@Veaseify Burnley yes but Brighton and Bournemouth are too ineffective on transfers. Tony Bloom (Brighton owner) made his money from gambling so its probably shrewd that he bought Brighton
Love the podcast! Is it possible to get on the podcast as a hardcore fan with a lot of knowledge about football? I watch over 600 games every year. Do real scouting work for all my FM and FIFA saves.
if i make millions i know exactly what club i’m buying, altrincham fc. i’m only 14 and don’t live near there but i’ve been to some of the games and they’re a great team. i’d love to own them and bring them to stardom
Got to be Hull city as we really are blank canvas for FFP due to the many cuts our owners have made somebody could literally throw lots of money into without worrying, we’d have a swell of the fan base return as those boycotting would return and we are the only club in our radius so great potential as well as a good youth academy
Great podcast guys let me know if you ever need me in one of your shows i'll be more than happy to be in it have the biggest football knowledge than you can imagine.
You should buy Porto. Your league does not have a prohibition against owners acting as agents. The domestic players in that league have an enviable reputation for skill, athleticism and professionalism. You have exceptional access to both Latin American and African players. You are a regular fixture in the Champions League so that these players can gain experience and a European profile. You are in the EU, so that when it comes time to sell, the legal framework for transfers is not complicated. This was not enough for the actual owners of Porto, because, even with all of these advantages, they still managed to get themselves arrested for tax-fraud. So the final reason, if you got your timing right, is that you could get a very good club at a very good price.
Which share to own Roma fc or ajax? Also note this 1) ajax is not in top 5 leagues 2) they jus act as feeder clubs 3) they have 4 UCL n a good history 4) they still don't have direiucl qualification 1) roma is in top 5 League 2) tho they haven't won much they have a decent history n huge fans 3) their league has direct ucl spot
Oh Joe, your rrrrrrroling "R" is way too tame, too English. You need to embrace it and pronounce it harder, with more panache. :) Good podcast all around.
can't do rrrrrrrrr's.. maybe i have fat tongue,,, living in spain btw so, yeah.... i can do hcuuuh, hwah.. hwuh... you know what i mean... you will be surprised to know no private school for I eithers..(sleeve sniff.)
Episodes like this are the main reason why I consider Tifo to be the best general football channel out there!
This is the athletic?

It is definitely passionate love.
Just the video I was looking for. Always wanted to buy a football club but didn't have a clue as to who to buy
Wait wait wait, since when has Alex been the weird one?!? It’s like (two hours each week of) my whole universe just turned upside down!
Always, tbqh
Probably Sunderland, someone with an inbuilt support despite them being shite for so long

Thanks for the advice, I will sneak a thank you to Tifo into the sale agreement between myself and my preferred Premier League club

Can you guys do a video about possible replacements of Sergio afuera,Harry Kane and other aging strikers?
Favorite episode so far!
Can i be on the newcastle episode please? Excellent FM credentials so im about as well qualified as alex
What a shout Sochaux is, even if it did ruin the game, Alex is a underutilised genius
Alex says thank you

J.K Rowling will be adding "rrretexo doo por favor" into the next Harry Potter book.
it.... it. finished dude.... sorry to break that to you... Also, there is no more A Team.. that's er.. that's done too...
Great work guys always entertaining
Dinamo Bucharest was for sale for one Euro (you just had to be willing to take on their seven-figure debt...)
I have never been to romania but my dad lives in bucharest.
Not Newcastle apparently, because that sort of thing is not allowed

Chelsea listen in on buying a second club for chelsea loans players
Charles sounds like Alex cosplaying as himself
Guy should see how I run my level 6 team on fifa
I love this ❤️❤️
I’d rather build a club. I wouldn’t like to buy a club and clean their whole history. Imagine if someone bought Real Madrid or even Nottingham Forest.
Somebody HAS bought Nottingham Forest - the guy who owns Olympiacos.
Like I have the money. In the future I'll buy FC Barcelona
sounds like ritexo have developed modeling akin to imperial college, everyone is a genius and everyone is a dud

Lol Charles points out how free spending FSG are but because Liverpool aren’t going to buy Werner it’s FSG out again hahaha

Well... I m poor
You shouldn't buy a football club. You should move to America like Steve Walsh and start a new one instead.
Christ. This lad is posh
Chrrrrrrrrrrist
I'd buy Chelsea and invest heavily in the youth academy, enforce salary caps! and in the long run the club will be profitable
But then you would still be in abramovich’s shadow
MK Dons??????????? jesus
