- This video shows the visit of Margriet and me to the island Corvo from the island Flores (both islands of the western Azores Archipelago).
The video shows the boattrip from Santa Cruz das Flores to Vila Nova on Corvo, the ascent by bus to the crater rim (in mist), a hike trough the old centrum of Vila Nova and the departure from Corvo back to Flores
It would drive me nuts to have tourists walking all over my backyard, but then again, they're probably used to it and appreciate the extra escudos. Anyway, thanks for the walking tour. I loved getting to see a place I've been curious about.
I am portuguese i live in the USA this is the first time I saw a good video from Corvo. Thans to share this video. I hope you and Margriet has a good time there.
it is so beautiful , all those people inhabiting the island have found The place to live in and its so peaceful , i mean you know with all the violence in and around the world , Humans are gone nuts , i would like to return and spend the rest of my life there

I do not hired a guide. We took the boat from Corvo and on the island we payed a taxi together with other tourist to the crater
I think they have tv and radio. Probably also internet
I do not know which wild mammals there live. Of course there are birds. And the people have dogs and pigs
