I've been working with the Hunter for a year now with over 1000 cars aligned. Great aligner
I learned on the Hunter Viper machine, which I thought was as good as it could get. I'll be using the Hawkeye Elite pretty soon and can't wait to see the magic it can do. Hunter all the way!!!
Running two of these machines for training in a school, rock solid units, easy to train technicians.
win toe is one of the best tools you can have in a shop...period...simply amazing
Great product. Time saver and perfect adjustments. Would recommend.
215waterboy How do you calculate in order to find how many shims need to be put in thrust/ scrub?

Good mechine.very fast alignment
Salve, non bloccare il volante lavorando con wintoe avrò 💯💯 un volante diritto!!! Oppure è ideato x gli accessi complicati è quindi perderei in precisione di centratura?
Can you do a custom suspension alignment on this machine? Like a jeep with all 8 adjustable control arms. Will this do wheel base? Also square up the axles in relation to each other?
Yes, Hunter’s WinAlign based aligners can perform wheel alignments on such vehicles. The main angles of Camber, Caster, and Toe for each wheel are displayed with live adjustment capabilities. Additionally, Wheelbase, Setback, and many other angles can be captured and displayed for the user. While these additional angles (wheelbase, setback, etc.) do not have a live adjustment display, they can be re-measured quickly and efficiently to determine if the desired change has been achieved. Our local team can help you see how this could benefit your business with a live, on site demonstration. I'll have to see how this works on superdutys, it can be a pain to get the wheel straight on one of those.
These and anything really with solid front axle's are the worst without WinToe! WinToe works great to get a straight steering wheel on these setups.
I'm getting different toe readings when using the steering wheel holder when I approach the level position from either the left direction or the right direction. There's just enough lash in the steering wheel that it affects it and i dont know which one is right.
Hello, and thank you for your question. If the variance is in Total Toe, there may be an issue with your turnplates binding. I’d suggest you contact your local Hunter Service Representative to take a look and help diagnose the issue. If you aren’t already familiar with Hunter’s WinToe program, I’d suggest asking the rep for a quick overview as it can also help with achieving a straight steering wheel.
we just hate the new bungy clamps in our shop, we have seen the sensors slide on wheels , we prefer the old style clamps
Хоть кто то написал правду 👍 Хантр конечно хорош, но есть и другие производители и на много дешевле
Работаю на Техно Вектор. Есть три вида адаптеров на колесо. Ни чем не хуже Хантера, а в чем то даже лучше ❗️
Is it possible to perform custom alignments by inputting the specifications yourself, regardless of vehicle make, model or year ?
Thanks for your great question! Yes, you can enter custom specifications and save them for future use.
@@HunterEngCo Thank you for the information
consistently do alignment and it shows correctly on the machine, however does not match screen when it prints out...any suggestions
We could use a little more info on your procedure, but can assume this happened due to a caster adjustment? The last measurement screen you were on, before adjustments is the screen that prints.
God Job
Really dislike using wintoe never actually comes out even on both ends. And never come out exact .I rather lock steering wheel and see the degrees with true adjustment .
If I weigh 125KG and 95% driving alone in the car - just sounds logic that driver seat has to be preloaded with sandbags before alignment... Am I right?
It would depend on the engineering design from the vehicle manufacturer. Some OEM's do require weight loaded alignment (GER), though most others do not.
I wear type the same with my Mercedes. Could probably just put bag of potatoes on the seat! 😄
can anyone help? I need to kno how to change mm to degree IN the winalign software? Need this ASAP. TIA!
Hi. From the main WinAlign screen, toggle to Service Programs, then Set Up Aligner. Find Alignment Procedures in the list, then choose Alignment Measurement Units and Formats. Next select your adjustment angle, such as Toe, and from there you will be able to select your measurement display in Degree or MM.
@@HunterEngCo thank you. We ended up figuring it out.
Watching this before buying in zagreb
Where can I find these machines l like them to buy
Locate a Hunter distributor at www.hunter.com
👍
My steering wheel is no where near straight, after my alignment, and the toe angles were put into the green. Guy at the shop gave me the road crown excuse.
Death Watch... you better take back and tell him to fix it. That's not excuse. He didn't locked steering wheel correctly.
Honestly, it sounds like the mechanic performed a 2 wheel alignment instead of a 4 wheel alignment. Performing a geometric centerline (2 wheel alignment) alignment will result in dog tracking and a crooked steering wheel. They have to adjust the camber/toe in the rear first before they touch the caster/camber and then toe in the front to provide a straight steering wheel and a vehicle that tracks true.
@Dave Moore false, thats the rear for a negitive caster split 2* crown of the road will always pull right negitive caster split keeps it from pulling,
