You can order the Brace separately.. When I bought my EP9 all I had to do was ask for the brace and they sent it free.. Not for the 45 though.. April 2023
There is more mass needed in the EP45 and EP10 bolt. Therefore, there was no space to include the "floating" non-reciprocating charging handle. Only option was to stick the handle in the bolt.
@@joshv06 Great! I had read that the trigger set was very similar to AR and could be switched but no wear did a see anything about the safety. You'd think at least one left hander would post a video. Lol
@@HunterTinsley The EP9 is selling out in minutes, so because they seem like a small operation I am guessing they're just barely able to keep up with the demand for the 9mm. I wouldn't expect to see any other models soon, especially with the climate regarding gun sales this year.
Any word on the fate of the EP45 or EP10? Extar recently revamped their site and they no longer list either model! I have the EP9 and am waiting on the EP10 with baited breath!
@@joshv06 so I am guessing they had manufacturing issues then. Hell people can't get their hands on the 9mm ones and demand is very high because of the Rona
Good review vid. Do you remember how many rounds you shot suppressed vs unsuppressed? From what you saw, does it seem like it would be reliable shooting a high round count suppressed? Did the NP3 clean up easy? Thanks in advance.
200 rounds suppressed, 100 unsuppressed. It was reliable the whole way with Glock mags and the NP3 is very slick. I would say slicker than nitride. Cleaned up very easily, though I do not really clean my guns.
Getting into the groove. May not seem as so, but it takes a lot to film these videos. Easily over 25 man hours with my brother with preparing, driving, recording, figuring out issues in-field (like SGM magazine malfunction), lots of un-used footage, editing, publishing. Getting all the info out there is first on my mind. I'll be more exciting once we get in the swing of things. Thanks for the input.
@@joshv06 I prefer an honest video over a fake overly enthusiastic one, if I didn't like your videos I wouldn't bother giving you guys a bit of crap lol. The air in the suppressor is regular air in the air containing oxygen, so the first shot is louder due to it burning up with the first shot. After that, there is mainly gasses and burnt powder in the can, so there is no oxygen to ignite and the shots are quieter. This is true for monocore cans (which this is) and not so much with k baffle cans. The phenomenon is actually called "first round pop".
@@joshv06 awesome, thanks. That was kind of worrying me because I am about to apply for my stamp and the only reason I want one is for home defense. I didnt want the first shot to pop so loudly which would defeat the purpose. Thanks again! The Extar 9 will be my next purchase

How fucking long does it take them to make the 10mm and 45 ACP?
Ive been waiting for like a year now for the 10mm.
I really wish they'd produce the ep45
The EP45 was released two days ago. FYI
Where the hell are these? its been 2 years and nothing
They are out and in stock now.
This caliber for sale now? Today is March 2020
Nope, and if I had to guess they are selling every EP9 they can make and have no incentive to diversify right now.

Would love to see one in 357 Sig

The 45 and 10 still aren't available but that's ok I'm getting the 9. What a sweet gun.

Does anyone know if the safety can be reversed or is there another solution for us lefties?

What Suppresser are you using? I have an EP9. Can you recommend and post a link?
