Gordon's is a 19th-century wine bar in candlelit, vaulted cellars with original Dickensian-style decor. It's a must-stop for any wine aficionados and it's centrally located. It's a hidden London gem (well, it's sometimes not easy to find).

Fabulous! I know Villiars Street very well but I’m always rushing for a train at Charing Cross so don’t stop anywhere. I’ll definitely give this bar a go!

Not heard of this place. Looks great. Love the darkness and candles. Who needs windows? That will be on my list. London has so many great drinking places. One of my favourites is Ye Old Cheshire Cheese off Fleet Street. Similar underground dark rooms.

Ahh I'll look out for that one then Sinead. But be careful filming and walking down the steps to the cellar bars at the same time. That's a low ceiling by the stairs and you look tall ha.
The Cittie of York near Chancery Lane tube is also a nice pub. Love the booths there. You probably know that too.

Villiers Street was originally Norwich Place, residence of the Bishop of Norwich. It was taken over by the Duke of Suffolk in 1536 and its name changed to Suffolk Place.
