Eyo Craig! Just bought a bunch of merch from the store and these are literally the first shirts I’ve ever bought in my life that fit like a fucking dream. Keep up the good work, my dude
I will confirm that Craig is nice to people when they come up to talk to him. I saw the Downbeat Live in Dallas and met Craig and asked for a picture afterwards. He complimented my Patagonia jacket. Great experience.
I saw Travis with both Spite and Sylosis in Manchester, the guy absolutely nailed both sets, awesome drummer. Can’t wait for the new Spite material. Also waiting on the new Stray stuff Craig… Hope the move Stateside goes well.
1:13:27 “it’s very cool when you meet your heroes and they’re cool” - well said Travis. I met both Travis and Craig at the end of 2024 (in NYC, Spite tour and Downbeat Live) and they were both super nice. Travis and I talked for nearly 2 hours after his set and he was so down to earth. Craig too, after his downbeat live show, talking to a whole LINE of fans like me. He gave us all time to talk his ear off. I’m so glad our scene doesn’t have too many massive egos. Metal & HC fucking rules.
When I first started playing drums I used Sabian cymbals I had the cheap affordable ones sounded like absolute trash then I switched over to playing the Paiste 2002's such a crisp sounding shimmer you get from them. I don't play drums much anymore but when I did in my band I played Paiste for years! Can also totally relate to the cymbal stands breaking or moving around while playing so annoying lol
Saw him in Houston when he was with Carcosa during the Angelmaker run…beautiful kit with beat-up-ass Meinl cymbals and an AWESOME snare. He is definitely one of my most favorite drummers ever wrt to playing and showmanship. I’m working on implementing more visuals/stick tricks as well as the mighty swivel technique 👀 my fucking shins smh He also called my shirt “fucking based” (I was wearing a TAMA shirt I cut into a tank)
I live in New Brunswick a few hours away from the Sabian plant, during Covid their A&R guy took a second job working with me while things were slow and he had some amazing stories man. Thought he was full of shit at first until he showed me picture of him behind Neil Pearts kit and some other hefty receipts. Picked that guy’s brain for days, hope he’s doing well
@@th3m1ke Stan was one of the people targeted by the bleeped out drummers we were talking about, not one of the actual drummers themselves. We both love Stan
@@AndrewJShirley my gut feeling is that it was Riccardo Merlini. Could be wrong of course. But when Craig said “Yes it’s him” I was pretty convinced. Oh and for the record, I love Stan’s playing, so happy he has got an audition with Primus.
Saw him last with Sylosis in Switzerland and was blown away by how good he is - a proper fill-in for Ali! My friend even caught one of his sticks. Sadly I didn't get a compliment for wearing my Downbeat shirt tho 😥
Very proud of my son and all he has accomplished in a very short period of time
My boi
"I dont like how they explode if you look at them" has me crying.
Found out about him from one of your reaction videos where he subscribed on twitch and you were like "go follow Travis"
Finally got my stage shorts after waiting years to catch a drop. Incredible quality ❤
What a solid last episode in the Downbeat space!

Travis is a sick dude and was a great chat! Love the talks about how Sabian is in shambles as a company. Love you dudes!
Met him in Hamburg, thanked him for his incredible playing, got a compliment from him for my downbeat shirt. 12/10 all around experience. 15/10 guy.
Travis is so sick! Such a good episode dude, I’ll see you at the London show bro 🤘🏻🎃

This is sick, I saw this guy at a small venue Carcosa show and he absolutely ripped. So glad to see him getting traction and doing cool shit
Dude ❌ Bro ❌ Bruh ❌ Mate ❌

Saw him with Sylosis on the EU tour with Fit. First I went ‘where is Ali?’, but he effin’ nailed it! Also, looking forward to that new Spite stuff.
@@patfix that was me at the Glasgow show, and then I realized Ali was standing like four people away from me with the rest of BFW 😂

He’s leading the discussion for stacking cymbals 🤘🏻
Cool to see people my age getting along in their music career's. Seen Travis on insta and love his vibe
& Yeehaw cowboy Craig
An absolute legend
Someone should tell Dave Elitch he is still walking
I;m so glad I'm not the only one who caught that.
I have bought cymbals off Craig, and I can confirm his texting is in fact, terrifying haha.
