Some magnificently talented drummers make this look easy! That floor Tom on the left side of the snare is brilliant! Schaweet drumming & footwork Travis!!!
The thing about this dude is that he is such a tasty player and so good at what he does. He's made some videos on instagram that show off his talent and skill, especially using blastbeats, often pissing off the purists. And he fucking owns it. I understand though, this style of music took me forever to get into. If you have a problem with that shit, for the love of god try and have an open mind because like it or not, players like this are the future of drumming and heavy music. So fucking tasty and so good, such a bright future ahead for this dude.
Double strokes on the feet are a legitimate technique that takes time to develop just like any other technique. Triggers are used in fast music so that you can clearly hear the kicks at fast tempos. Without a trigger, you can't even tell what the bass drum is doing about 240 bpm. A trigger doesn't automatically do anything for you or play 2 notes when you're playing one. Try to do what any "cheating" drummer is doing, and you'll quickly realize it takes practice just like everything else 🖤
That’s my boy ❤
your son is very talented sir! 🫡
LETS GO BABYYYYY

I agree. I've been playing with a left tom since I saw Chad Gracey from Live do it back in the mid 90's
🖤⚡️🖤
Love it!! Heavy as fuck :) :)
Yaaaaay!!! So glad to see travis on the channel! I love all the guys in carcosa so much.
Yo thats so cool to see him killing it on insta and now on the official Meinl page 🔥🔥🔥
I love the symmetry of his kit. That and the amazing playing. Those double bass notes are so clean sir!
I really like the new drumming these young whippersnappers are coming up with, a lot different from the 70's
He always goes so hard!!!!!!! This makes me want that ride so bad, that bell is insane 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That ride bell sounds so good

Hell yeah! Freaking fantastic! Gotta love some Carcosa goodness.
Travis is so sick 🫡🖤
Wassup bryce
Tasty 🤌 and excellent, heavy cymbal setup w/ the polyphonic ride as a crash on the right hand side 👏
Travis finally getting some recognition!
Fuuuuuck yeah! Hadnt heard of him but im a fan. That was sick.
I can’t believe he’s using the polyphonic ride as a crash 😂
Ya let's go Travis! Hometown love! \m/
Amazing playing as always! Looking forward to seeing the other videos Travis! 🤘🏼
You can tell heavy drumming away when the artist uses 21 in rides as crashes! Full of tasty drum moments in this song.
I'd like if the actual mix of these songs had the drums this far forward in the mix. The drums are beefy af in these play throughs.
Great playing Travis. Those cymbals sound sweet as well.
Great stuff Travis
Good work Travis! 🔥👏
Dudes a badass.
