I have seen some awesome racing between the Honda 85 and the 150r, they're very close in performance with similar riders and I imagine the KX is similar. I think at this point I would go for the 150r because of class specs around here, nobody really runs 85s but there are plenty of 150rs. As soon as I clear up some garage space I'd love to get a proper 150r setup as well.
I have put some peg risers on mine which are off our symoto pit bike which have different holes so you can move nylon pegs which is also good crash protection 👍

@@att49356 Highly recommend a 65 haha, low maintenance and high fun! I've been hunting for an appropriate rear shock on the Aprilia, I think that'll kick me back into gear working on it. Let me know what new stuff you found!
@@GarageAddiction Starting from the rear shock, it is an YSS Eco line with adjustable height, there are - apparently - two models, one with just adjustable height and another one with adj. height and adj. dampening force! Mine is the first one, it came with a price of 145 euros + shipping. It also is compatible for Honda CBR 125R 2004-2010, so you might find it easier in the USA. I think it is good enough if not even more than enough for our little bike. Maybe the extra 80 euros for the adj. dampening force are a good purchase if you plan to use it on track. Now I'm waiting to install it, let's hope I won't have to tinkle too much with the ride height since my front forks are a bit soft. Speaking of front forks, I've contacted an italian shop who sells a Mini GP kit 100% compatible with the RS 50, it extend to both plates, 650mm reversed forks and handlebars. The only thing makes me mumble a bit is the fact that the kit is born to host 12" wheels, so stock 17" Aprilia wheels might have some trouble. A sure shot is the whole RS 125 front end, 125's front rim too as it's 20mm axle, while the 50 is 12 or 15mm. Don't really like it because it might turn the settings off, both 3.00" wheels front and rear. The ideal would be to make some custom wheel axle, will think about it when I'll get hands on both kits.
