I managed to score 3 new KX65s for the fleet. I had been looking for a spare bike to build into another supermoto and now I've got spares. In this video I tear down the bike I'll be building up in the coming weeks.

My right side cover did the same shit. Same bolt. Captive nut in gas tank spun and spun.. wound up plastic welding a new one on tank.

Nice video. Just bought myself a 2002 kx65 and excited to run it around! Might take the motor and put it on a minibike frame but after riding it i think its going to crazy with the powerband to try it on a minibike frame. What u think

Thanks! I think sticking it in a minibike would be pretty fun for a little while but doing 50ish on a minibike sounds a little sketchy.
