ive had the RK918 for a month now and i absolutely love it. i love the way it types, the click sounds, the colors and aninations, everything. its not flexible at all like the one he showed in the video, so if you were going to discard the keyboard for that reason, you have nothing to worry about. also the click sounds are that perfect tone where you can hear them but they are not loud. if youre considering the RK918 i'd absolutely recommend it!

I got the newer white $40 version. I never seen a keyboard with the LED's on the side like that which is why i bought it. Pretty unique looking thing and fits my white setup.
Not really worried about gaming performance because i mainly play fighting games and use a controller or arcade sticks.
Ed: keybord is made out of cheap plastic, watch till the end where ill try to break one in half

I've had this keyboard for over a year now. Fav keyboard EVER. I have red key, it's the perfect amount of clicki-ness for me. Obsessed with the light-up feature upon turning on my PC that this keyboard offers. It has never stopped working on me and is a fantastic price.

I just bought this keyboard straight from it's main factory in China. They have improved the build and fix all the negatives that Ed mentioned. No more thin aluminium, now its thick and solid. It also don't have any squeak when I twisted the keyboard like Ed did. But that hollow plastic feel tho, I can still feel it especially the plastic part of the RGB frame, maybe because IT IS a hollow plastic after all so that RGB lights can be seen lol. But the plastic do feel thick and premium. The keyboard also weights 100 gram more now compared to the one that Ed reviewed.

In case you read these comments, I built my pc yesterday with the thermal paste, the graphics card was dead so I bought a new one. But I’m using cpu graphics for now. It come out great thanks to your help.

TY for the vid! I actually just came to watch your finger presses when changing the keyboard settings. RK provides almost 0 documentation with this thing. Despite finding the color-changing software for the keys online, I could not find the manual telling me how to change the light bar color. Thanks! :)

Bought this in 2022. It doesn't squeak anymore. It's a bit heavy. I love typing on it. I just wish they come up with the same keyboard that's wireless. I love love the rim light. It's a good deal!

Would say, I got the brown switch keyboard and it is amazing. It does not have the plastic bendy back and the frame is quite solid been using it to play osu and my tapping keys have no wear or shine yet. It was much better than my previous one and I would recommend as a decent mid range mechanical keyboard.

Something I find very strange is that I have a keyboard that's called sandberg firestorm and the lighting of the keys is EXACTLY the same, even the onboard controls and even the software.
i just got this keyboard this day (black switches)! my personal review is that since its my first time using a mech keyboard, you might need a while to get used to it. overall it feels good for my fingers to type and id give it a 9/10 :)

There's a TKL version for this called Rakk Sinag. They only come in MX switches and ABS caps though
I've had the rk100/rk860 for about 2 months now and I'm loving it. Royal Kludge make some decent boards with low price points. My biggest regret is not being able to get the board with red switches, as these blue are a tad noisy...
If you have a Hot Swappable keyboard, you can likely change the blue switches to red.
Honestly, I feel like just adding another aluminum backplate at the back of the board would likely help solve the deck-flex at least (Don't know about the Squeakiness though).
Hope they make a sequel to this board with the design ironed out.

I really don't mind the build quality since even now in 2022, I don't see any other brand that offers a keyboard with rgb sides. Gamakay K66 is the closest one but not even that close. Some people just like to buy an RGB keyboard for the RGB.
I'm using that keyboard right now and I love it, I got it for Christmas, and you're making it sound so much worse than it is, the clicking sounds are so much better in person compared to how you showed and it's really not that easy to bend, plus, who is trying to bend their keyboard while playing or working???

I have the R61 and it’s very good I enjoy gaming with it.
Should review the Tecware Phantom for a budget edition keyboard vid. I've been using one for almost a year now and its been great and you can swap the switches out and customize the whole build. Also has its own software for the RGB thats decent. Can't really beat for under $50.

What's the best keyboard: DK63 or RK61 or GK61 ??
That is a huge amount of wobble, actually. Just get one with a metal frame, wood or acrylic if you want less flex. There are others that glow around the sides like that also.
