  • The manual 6 speed Lamborghini Murcielago could be the absolute most engaging supercar of all time. Let me put you in the drivers seat while we drive in the canyons of Southern California and let you decide if true.

Special thanks to IG: @francoseuropeansportscars making sure this Murci is always in top shape. Also, special thanks to IG @analog_speed for additional footage.

Just love the Murcielago with manual transmission. I friend of mine owned one of these first Murcielago version also with 6-speed manual and a full capristo exhaust system. That noise was just incredible. He had 2 Diablos before, a 1994 VT and a 1999 VT roadster, he told me that the gearbox in the Murcielago is way better than in the Diablo. My favourite car is the Diablo by far, but i like the sound of the Murcielago more.

I would do a factory lp640 body kit and stock Hercules wheels. Perfect

Cool video. Your personal love and appreciation for such a powerful and raw car shines thru here. Thanks for being honest with no BS. The tone of the v12, the clacking gated shifter and the feel of the car are well captured. Nothing fancy in the production but I like the realism and home feel. I drive s2000's and Miata's, Mustangs but never had the opp to drive a supercar. It looks like a very special experience that I'd love to enjoy sometime. Thanks for sharing motor brother !

Been waiting for this one, Paul! Great review and absolutely nail on the head with the 488/720S comparison. Great cars in their own right but they just don't do it for me anymore...too much speed that comes too easy. Great on a track but in the real world? Sure on an empty highway it can be fun...but on proper driving roads it's just too much power to use. I remain of the opinion that peak car was 1995 to 2005. Right amount of comfort, right amount of toys and safety, right amount of power.

this looks so uncomfortable to drive your legs are literally touching the steering wheel
