This song brings tears to my eyes because my wife asked me to play it at her funeral, when the coffin gets lowered to her last place of rest😢❤😢❤😢😢😢❤ and 😥😥😥
I was today at my grandpa's funeral. He was one of the most important persons in my life. We had a very talented woman sing this in church when we were all going outside to put his ashes in the ground. I Share your sorrow ❤
But I am guessing you started at an early age.....and had professional lessons for years.....and that both parents are gifted singers........Or maybe not ?
@@richardgaines9450 thank you so much for your kind words! I actually didn’t start singing or training classically till I was 18 years old and I come from a non musical or classical family. I had a late start compared to many of my colleagues but I definitely worked very hard to sing like I do in order to make up for that.
Thanks guys however, I am indeed a tenor. In my range I have upwards of a tenor high Eb. I do understand that my warm color and present low range can be confusing though. Additionally, thank you so much for showing interest in my voice and singing. It is greatly appreciated! :)
Bonjour! My French is not very good so I will speak in English. Thank you so much for your comment but I have to say as my name is Devin, I am indeed a Tenor and Samantha is indeed a soprano. There are different types of Tenors and sopranos as I’m sure you know. Speaking for myself….many believe I am a young dramatic or Heldentenor which explains why you hear my richer vocal timbre. I hope this helps sort through the confusion! :)
@@devinm.eatmon4170 Thank you very much for these precisions : it's true that your timbre is not usual... ;) I understand, now (though I knew that there are several kinds of sopranos and tenors).
Had this played at my husband's funeral 17years ago
How touching! I’m glad we could offer you some comfort and healing!
Wow! Remarkably beautiful voices. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much watching!! :)

Beautifully sung. Gorgeous voices. I think this man is a baritenor.
Thank you very much! I certainly have baritonal qualities!
... baritone... 😭

Don’t you know what a baritenor is?

COSTA CRUIS SHYPS,EWERY TIME OUT OF HARBOUR WAS THIS SONG!
I KNOW,I WAS TECHNICIAN ON "COSTA'S" SHIPS!
Andrea Borcelli made this song popular to all of us.
Yes indeed! He and Sarah Brightman were the original duo. We were very happy to sing a similar arrangement.
indeed - but isn't it interesting to hear a large voice tenor singing it compared to Bocelli's stylish but smallish voice?
@@maestromuffin1 thank you for your kind words!

Hermoso tema y una buena interpretación. 😊

you sound like a baritone nice voice sir❤
Thank you! I sing with my full instrument and because I am a 6’2” tenor….I have a baritonal color!

It sounds fine, but seeing that he learned his part while she had to constantly look down at the lyrics is awkward.
