I just heard this group about a month ago on Pandora. I don't know why I haven't heard their songs on Christian radio. I love many of their songs especially this one.
I am a youth director. As part of my duties I lead a youth talent troupe that performs skits and musical dramas. I started writing a new skit last year and was looking for the musical portion of the skit. God gave me your song "Song of My Father". As soon as I heard it, God gifted me with the vision of our performance. I just viewed today, the reason why you wrote this song and it gave me chills. Literally, I have been working on this skit and musical drama for nearly a year and just saw this video. The skit is about two people believe God doesn't exist because of tragedies that have affected them. But a friend shares with them the power of God and how God does exist. At the end of the skit, we will do a painting that will be over 6 ft tall in time to your song.
I really needed that man, I'm Christian, but I started to doubt God because we lost our home due to the flood and it seems like no one cares about use anymore.
I have UCB radio on all day long in my kitchen, sometimes it's just background noise and I don't really hear what's playing. One day I was just standing there by the fridge and this song came on. Immediately it touched my spirit and by the last chorus I was singing along with it. I quickly UA-cam-d the title and downloaded it. It was a lifeline for me at that time and as it happens, Zeph 3:17 has been one of my favourite most special scriptures for over 25 years. Thank you guys it so blesses me every time I play it, which is almost daily!
My wife and I are headed for divorce at the moment, and you're right... things feel "grey" at the moment. I have been praying for God to rescue my marriage, but He has yet to do so. I continue to make my requests known to God, but while I wait, it's so comforting to know God is with me.
Thanks so much for this song y tell your history, it saved me from anxiety and fobia crisis and especialy made me find reconciliation with Jesús and God , because I was so resented and 💔 and mad since I thought He wasen`t good and every thing i was teached about him , was just lies and false fantasy
